Das im Jahr 1887 fur̈ Carl Auer von Welsbach errichtete Palais befindet sich im Herzen des 4. Wiener Bezirks. Die Wiener Staatsoper
und die Innenstadt können fußläufig erreicht werden. Das prächtige Bauwerk aus der Gründerzeit liegt im Gartentrakt, in einer
absoluten Ruhelage. Der Garten und die Terrassen können ungestört genossen werden. Das gesamte Palais wurde totalsaniert und
mit Liebe zum Detail behutsam renoviert. Das Dachgeschoß wurde ausgebaut und spektakulär verglast.
Die öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut: die U1–Station Taubstummengasse, Straßenbahn- und Autobuslinien liegen
praktisch vor der Türe. Der Flughafen Wien-Schwechat ist in 25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Built for Carl Auer von Welsbach in 1887, the Palais is situated in the heart of Vienna´s 4th district. The city centre is within walking
distance. Due to ist garden wing layout and completely quiet location the garden and terraces can be enjoyed without limitation.
The entire palace was completely and carefully renovated. The attic was expanded and glazed spectacular. The newly built
underground car park can be reached directly from each floor of the palace with the newly built lift
Public transport connection is excellent: the U1 stop Taubstummengasse as well as three tram and bus lines are virtually right on the
doorstep. Vienna International Airport can be reached in 25 minutes by car.

Die großzug̈ igen Räume wurden mit größter Sorgfalt renoviert, die alten Wandvertäfelungen wieder hergestellt, die textilen
Wandbespannungen nach Originalvorlagen wiederhergestellt, der Stuck restauriert und zum Teil durch Blattgold ergänzt.
Als stilistische Kontrapunkte dienen unter anderem die verglaste Kuppel über dem „Le Ciel“, eine moderne, mit gusseisernem
Geländer ergänzte Stahltreppe als Verbindung der historischen Beletage mit dem Dachgeschoß, geschmackvolle Sanitärbereiche
und moderne Möbel. Historische Kristallluster der Firma Lobmeyr wurden mit Swarovski- und Muranolustern kombiniert.

The generous rooms have been refurbished with great care, the old wall panelling rehabilitated or supplemented, the
textile wall coverings restored based on original designs, the stucco retouched and partly complemented with gold leaf.
Stylistic counterpoints are, among others, provided by the glazed dome above „Le Ciel”, a modern steel staircase with
castiron railing connecting the historic Bel etage with the rooftop floor, tasteful sanitary areas and modern furniture.
Historic Lobmeyr crystal chandeliers have been combined with Swarovski and Murano chandeliers.
