EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Dear friends and partner,
Thank you so much for giving us a reason to smile every day, Knowing that
through your support we can reach and impact more people with the Gos-
pel. My family, GOA Teams and I get renewed and motivated to do more
knowing that through your prayers, moral support and financial support
we shall accomplish more.
Our Discipleship teams have led more new believers to salvation and con-
tinue to disciple them to Spiritual Maturity. During the month of June only
over 150 new believers have been led to salvation by the different GOA teams. They are all being well fed
for their spiritual growth by our Pastors and leaders who are discipling them. Some of them shall be bene-
ficiaries of at least one of the ten church building projects going on in different areas across the country.
We thank God for the great milestones achieved for the Kingdom.
Our Compassion and Dignity Director Mrs. Muchiri represented the GOA Africa Teams in Switzerland dur-
ing the 12 anniversary celebrations. On her return she shared with us a story of God at work. We are
blessed to know how God has used even children to partner with GOA Kenya in taking care of orphans and
widows in Kenya. Thank you so much to our Switzerland team for hosting Mrs. Muchiri and coordinating
our partners in Switzerland to support the GOA orphans. While Mrs. Muchiri was away all our more than
300 children were well cared for by our caregivers. One of our biggest challenges that we pray to God to
help us meet is find a sponsor for each of our children. Would you partners with GOA compassion by
sponsoring one or more children?
More than 300 leaders have been empowered to spread the gospel around Africa. Consistent Bible read-
ing History Makers Leadership training and Theological training programs have proven powerful tools for
empowering leaders for the Greta commission. Pastor Joyce from Nairobi was trained at Ukombozi in Nai-
robi and she has in turn mobilized a team of 30 leaders who are being equipped to accelerate the spread
of the Gospel. Our teams would love to partner with you more to train leaders and prepare them for the
great commission.
Kenya is currently going through a tough political season. In the History of Kenya election periods are nor-
mally divisive as politicians drum support for themselves and their political alignments. This season is par-
ticularly challenging due to the succession of the country’s presidency with the sitting president taking
sides in the political field opposed to His deputy who is seeking to succeed him. The country has never
been at such a dilemma before. However the GOA peace teams have geared up the push for peace in the
midst of all these deep rifts. Our peace teams have focused of the Historical violence hotspots in Tana Riv-
er, Nairobi and Marsabit...

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
GOA has been accredited by the Kenya Electoral body as a certified voter education provider; however our
teams face the challenge of acute shortage of funds needed to conduct voter education. Your partnership
with our peace team could help more Kenyans learn how to choose able leaders for the country for a
better future for our families, churches and all ministry teams.
In the month of June the GOA Teams changed the History of celebrations by choosing to celebrate father-
hood in a special way. On 18th The GOA Kenya family threw a fatherhood party through celebrating the
Founder of the ministry. I am extremely thrilled by your kind words and generous gifts that you showered
on me on the occasion of celebrating fathers. I received your gifts with a grateful heart and took my time
to pray for you. I look forward to seeing God’s blessings manifested in your life and walk with the Lord.
Thank you so much One of the greatest desire of my heart is to seethe GOA Dream Centre start and the
building run to the end. Please join me in raising the funds for this project.
Our teams have prepared these among many other stories to celebrate your partnership in pursuing the
great commission. Please take some time to read this newsletter and share with your friends and encour-
age them to read too and be blessed together with you.
Thank you and be blessed

Compassion & Dignity
COMPASSION AND DIGNITY
Our mission to creatively respond to the great commission, by creating
strong Christian fellowships, developing ethical leadership, caring for the
vulnerable, mitigating conflict in our communities and improving the so-
cial-political –economic status of nations continued. June was a unique
month; the director was able to attend the 12th anniversary celebration
for GOA Switzerland held in Switzerland on 12th June, 2022. We appreci-
ate this partnership and give glory to God.

We have been able to meet the basic needs of our school, despite the fact that the school terms are
children in the month of June despite the inflation shorter makes it harder for us because we are pay-
ing more funds towards school fee than other
years. We thank God for His continued provision
towards education. We also wish to appreciate the
fact that the children have been enjoying good food
and love at home and school too.
Sustainability
This month we were able to buy 4 sheep towards our first project at Rhema children home after comple-
tion the sheep pen. Rhema home is currently home to 29 children with majority below 12years. Having
a project that will also act as a way to develop life
skills is highly appreciated. We are also doing sheep
farming at Tumaini. Beat the drum has been able to
plant maize which is doing well, the challenge re-
mains rains. At Kieni we have had no good yields as in
the past because of lack of rains, we are experiencing great challenges of lack of water which have seen
us buy water even for domestic use after our taps run dry. Dairy farming at Tumaini and Beat The Drum
is doing fairing well. We however have challenges at Rehema due to the prolonged drought.
Visit to Switzerland
I wish to thank GOA Switzerland through the leadership of Rebekka for the invitation to our Compassion
director to attend the 12th GOA Switzerland anniversary celebrations. Thank you so much to Bishop Da-
vid for allowing this to happen. The GOA Compassion Director Mrs. Esther Muchiri met and spent time
with the GOA Switzerland staff, the board the advisory board, donors, partners and different children
groups and companies.

COMPASSION AND DIGNITY
I was able to meet and made presentation to different groups
that have funded our program i.e. in sponsoring children, con-
struction of the Kieni and CCRC dining hall etc. Among them is
Swiss Lux and Morreen school It was exciting to meet different
children’s groups where I helped them understand the Kenyan
culture and on the importance of sharing what they have and
got encouraged to venture into fundraising activities in order to support GOA projects in future. Some
activities I did with the children was teaching them Swahili and how to cook chapatti.
I am so grateful for this kind of expo-
sure through the invitation and it was a
golden opportunity to spend time with
the GOA Switzerland staff , they cared
for me so well, had time to be accompa-
nied by some for sightseeing, enjoyed
their meals and more so their love.

We are over joyed by the support that we are getting from all our sponsors and donors who give toward
the foster care program. Through this gift and support, we have been able to feed 18 families. During the
School holidays in the month of

as taking responsibilities in different areas. We would like to thank Our partners who support these fami-
lies for the good work, giving hope to children and families that are in dire need.

COMPASSION AND DIGNITY
Caroline Makena is the academic Giant in her class, beating all her class mates in
the recent series of exams posting excellent performance. Makena comes from
an extremely needy family that is not able to support her needs at all. She is an
example of the transformation that the power of partnership can bring to a
needy child. Makena is in her 7th grade looking forward to finish her primary ed-
ucation in the coming year before she joins High School. We pray for provision
of funds for her education together with other needy children on the program.

Peace
PEACE
Kenya is heading to the 3rd general Election with thousands of contenders
eying different seats across the country. Election seasons in Kenya are very
divisive seasons with different people across the countries landscape drum-
ming support for their candidates of choice. The GOA Peace Teams are
therefore at work preach9ing peace in different areas of the country espe-
cially the violence hotspots as well as teaching the citizens on their civic role
of electing leaders who shall care for the needs and foster good living for
the coming 5 years. We appreciate our partners and friends who have supported our peace initiatives.
Rev. Joyce Munyiri, Director GOA Peace
Garsen Peace Mission
Between 3rd and 6th June, Our peace Teams visited Garsen in Tana Delta for the Pease mission. The region
has experienced a wave of tribal clashes leading to fatalities. A head of the general elections this was an
area of concern for our teams. Our teams taught the women and young people on their role towards a
peaceful election as well as on conflict management and role of media during elections. The cultural diver-
sity on Saturday helped the locals who come from different tribes to see the need to embrace each other
regardless of their differences.
GOA women Convention
In the course of the month, the GOA women from Nairobi and its
environs congregated at GOA in Imara Daima for the quarterly
convention. The convention focused on empowering the women
to break the barriers and limits that hold them from exploiting
their full potential in different disciplines. As we look forward to
the next convention in September we are glad the women are al-
ready in action mobilizing themselves for their success as well as

GOA EDUCATION
GOA HIGH SCHOOL
We held the academic clinic at the school on 10th
June 2022, and academic performance was dis-
cussed in details. Parents and teachers together
with the students discussed ways of improving the
school performance in all areas. Together we identi-
fied some of the causes of the low performance
among the students. Among the resolutions that
were reached will include parents and guardians playing a supervisory role in their children Home assign-
ments by making sure the assignments are well done and a home work form filled and submitted to the
school. The teachers will also have a more strict role to play in overseeing students group discussions as
well as closer monitoring of the students study times at school. We have also made efforts to purchase a
wall clock for each class to help our children manage their time well.
Our team of 9 members of staff are committed to
the academic , co curricular discipline and the Spir-
itual growth of our children. The students are also
highly motivated towards their academic goals
having set targets for every class in and working
to achieve them at the end of the year. We have
also set aside classes in preparation for the CBC
Junior High School transition
National Examination preparedness
Our candidates are getting prepared for the National Exams at the end of the year. In the effort to prepare
adequately for this, the students Agricultures project is already underway with evaluation scheduled in
the course of the year. Our students are getting sufficient exposure to the practical examination. This will
help the students gain the necessary skills are confidence to handle their practical examination during the
National Examination.

GOA EDUCATION
GOA Education Centre Kinangop
Being the end of term all our classes had positive deviation. All our grades recoded a n improvement in
their performances. It has been noted that our grade six have difficulties in
tuning to the multiple choice test, but we are hopeful they will gradually
adapt to it since teachers are working tirelessly hard to ensure they are
able to adapt to the system. The teachers have put in their best efforts to
cover the academic work despite the years being shorter than normal. By
the close of the first term all the academic work for the first term had
been fully covered with some starting on the second term work.
Preparation for the candidate class is also well underway. Due to the new regulations by the ministry of
Education our candidates will be hosted at a neighbouring school for their National exam as our Numbers
do not reach the newly set minimum of 40 candidates for an examination Centre. The Christian union at
the school is strong helping the children to grow spiritually in their relationship with God as well as their
peers. Thank you so much to tour teams that are supporting our children.
GOA NABWELPUS
GOA Nabwelpus Primary had it well this term with the addition of one teacher by TSC one Mr Masika
John Simiyu. However our food got finished in the last week of the term. We requested a few of our
friends to help, and they gave us some food which pushed us up to the day before we closed the school.
All pupils, teachers and a few parents were present during closure. During this terms closing ceremony all
our children together
with the parents were
present to close to-
gether as the children
went home for the
short holiday.
Naotin Adult Education
The one and only building that the adult learners depend-
ed on was blown away by strong winds. Despite this diffi-
cult time s 35 adults still attend their classes learning in
the open. In addition to the classroom challenge we also
lack teaching materials such as books, hunger also dis-
rupts our students leaning as they go far away to look for
food missing classes many times.

Stewardship & Integrity
STEWARDSHIP AND INTEGRITY
Glory Outreach Assembly recognizes the importance of training and
mentoring leaders to nurture equitable, just and peaceful communities.
Just like Christ calls us to discipleship, GOA works with members to men-
tor and train leaders especially among youthful congregants who will
take up the leadership mantle and sustain the future God- fearing and
loving communities. In the leadership department, we help members
discover, develop and deploy their spiritual gifts to help fulfil the great
commission. We work in partnership with International Leadership Institute (ILI), GOA Switzerland, Nairo-
bi Pentecostal Bible College (NPBC) and Daily word feast foundation (CBR).
Rev. Phylis Githaiga, Director GOA Leadership
History Makers Leadership Training
335 leaders were trained this month in 6 Nations to the glory of God.
The trainings took place in six different Nations in Africa. Leaders
have set their multiplication goals and are pursuing their goals. We
look forward to greater results of multiplication.
Bible and Theological Training
The class in Tharaka took place over the third week of June with 25 students attending for the synoptic gospels course.
Construction: The construction of the ablution block started this month. Four bathrooms and two toilets are under construc-
tion. Upon completion, students will be able to move from rental
accommodation to the school. One of the students, Olympia do-
nated a portion of her land for church planting. The legal process
to transfer the land to GOA. Upon completion the church building
will start to give a church to the Tharaka community. The class in
Kinamba takes place on the first Saturday of the month with 10
dedicated students learning Theology. The facilitator travelled
from Nairobi to equip them for service. At the same time the
class at the GOA Headquarters in Nairobi meets every second Saturday of the month. It started on a good note with 20 stu-
dent’s turning up for the second class. It is well coordinated by a local pastor and students are from different churches.
Consistent Bible Reading classes (CBR)
We had three classes of consistent Bible reading going on. The CBR class in Tharaka has completed the
course and is preparation for the graduation in July. 10 students are keenly following instructions and
progressively developing the discipline of consistent Bible reading. The CBR class at Glory Outreach As-
sembly Murera went on well this month with 25 students. They meet every first Sunday afternoon every
month for 3 hours. The students are diligently learning the discipline and are eager to become consistent
Bible readers. The CBR class at Kangemi is also moving on well and it is about to graduate.

The month of June was very successful and we give God all glory to God. The month with a peace cam-
paign in Garsen, Tana river county. This was a great opportunity to talk to the people about the im-
portance of peace especially now that we are very close to the elections. I spoke on the role of media and
how important media is during the election time. We continue to play our part in preaching peace and
pray that above all God of peace is going to give us peace through out the election period.
Tana Delta region is a Historically Known for election related violence. During our Teams visit in
the ,month of June we held sessions with different groups sensitizing them on why they need to keep
peace. Of key interest to us were the young people whoa re many times misused by political leaders in
the area that is characterised by presence of
many tribal groups living together
GOA SPORTS
GOA creatively responds to the great commission through sports such as Football, Rollball, volleyball, ath-
letics and Floorball. We currently have 70 teams in different parts of Kenya and Africa
Our main focus has been preaching peace as Kenya looks forward to the August 9th general elections. Our

MENTORSHIP
THE GOA PEACE RUN
According to studies conducted on electoral violence in Kenya, one
major outcome is that there systematic death, sexual assault, dis-
placement from homes and constant fear for life. On a national
level in Kenya, politically-motivated and opportunistic sexual and
physical violations were commonly reported among adults in one
sample study with associated health and mental health outcomes.
(Johnson, K., Scott, J., Sasyniuk, T. et al. A national population-
based assessment of 2007–2008 election-related violence in Ken-
ya. Health 8, 2 (2014). https://doi.org/10.1186/1752-1505-8-2.)
The purpose of GOA RUN FOR PEACE is to raise awareness and
money to peace building initiatives throughout the country before,
during and after elections. Specifically, this event’s proceeds will go towards rolling out of curriculum for
civic education, peace seminars in hot spot areas in Kenya and relief support in case of electoral violence.
It requires us Kes. 835,725 to effectively plan and execute the Run. We request partners and friends to do-
nate to help us successfully hold the run on the 23rd of July 2022

GOA VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
GOA volunteer program aims at creating volunteer opportunities for people to utilize their gifts and skills
to glorify God and impact lives. We continue to host several volunteers in our homes where they share
their time and other resources with the children. We specifically glad to have had Jonathan and his wife
from Switzerland for their last month they were volunteering with us. The couple came to Kenya looking
forward to spend 6 months volunteering in our homes. They have served our children in all our homes and
have loved their experience in Kenya in the GOA projects.
Our June 2022 Month Milestones
Planning and preparations for peace run are in good
progress. we have contacted many sponsors we are
slowly receiving positive feedback on their partner-
ship with us. we have also contacted schools so as to
allow their students to participate in the run. We are
trusting God that the run will be a success and the
message of peace will reach as many people as is in-
tended.
We held a very successful fathers/ founders day celebration we had which was a great experience hear-
ing the many impacted lives by our founder. The legacy od Bishop David has set a very high bar for us we
are working hard to ensure that we build on and grow the legacy. Seeing the changed lives was very
heart warming we are grateful to God that this day went well more than we planned as a committee. It
was a pleasure to be part of this committee planning such a glorious ceremony.
Our teams are preparing for the coming international volunteers between July and August. So far we
have two and a family who have already booked their flights and we have planned their stay .there are
more applications which we are working on.

PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION
GOA MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION
Year 2021/2022 is a significant year for GOA Teams. The ministry celebrates thirty years of impacting com-
munities as well as transformation of individual lives within community. We celebrate the partnerships and
friendships that GOA has built over the years. This is the year that has also given the GOA Teams an oppor-
tunity to learn from the past ministry experiences and think about the future of GOA. The Goa media teams
are keen to keep our partners and friends updated with the GOA vision 2055 as well as sharing the oppor-
tunities available for the GOA partners to be involved.
GOA Missions Teams support
Prior to the June 18th Father’s day celebrations our team spearheaded the promotion of the events on
different GOA Platforms. This included production of promotion video content on the different Social Me-
dia and official Media. These strategies were reli-
able mobilizing more than the expected number
of delegates to the celebrations. During the cele-
brations we also put the event on Live stream on
YouTube where more than 400 guests joined the
celebrations online bringing more than double
the number of guests at the celebrations. We
thank the friends of GOA and friends of Bishop David who generously sent their gifts and attended the cel-
ebrations in person and online.
GOA TV progress
Our team launched the vision of GOA TV Online through YouTube. The Channel currently features pro-
grams run by GOA teams. We aim at diversifying the content on the YouTube Channel as we raise re-
sources to finally launch the TV on the Digital Settop Boxes.
GOA Partners Content production

Building projects
Construction of an ablution block at GGU in Marimanti is ongoing well. The work will be complete by end
of July. This block will have two bathrooms for each gender
and one toilet for each. After completion, the GGU boarding
students will use the schools dormitory. The two halls on the
first floor still need finishing works done. These include floor
tiles and ceiling estimated to cost KShs. 1.5 Million. Having
received all approvals needed for the construction work to
begin, we are thankful to God that now the work can start.
We are grateful to GOA Switzerland who have already given
funds needed for the first phase foundation works for the Dining Hall at Rehema Home. We plan to start
in Mid-July.
GOA SACCO
GOA SACCO envisions members who are economically empowered through saving and access to low
cost credit facilities. We targets members of GOA churches as well as the general public. After the suc-
cessful SACCO’s Annual General Meeting, the Management committee has embarked of strategies that
will see the SACCO status grow exponentially. There are new incentives to spur the growth of members.
Some of these include membership rewards of Kes. 200 for every new members referred, there are also

Over the first six month of the year, GOA SACCO has empowered members with affordable credit to build

credit management processes many members apply for the facilities more often. The SACCO has also ex-

ADMIN AND LEADERSHIP
THE GOA DREAM CENTRE
During the fathers day celebration in the month of June
all the GOA family congregated at The GOA Headquar-
ters for the celebrations. What a wonderful picture of a
united family this was. The number of guests present
exceeded what our planning team projected leading to
the guests present squeezing themselves in the church.
We look forward to the completion of the dream Cen-
tre, a Centre that will give all GOA teams a common
home to be proud of. Thank you so much Bishop David for dominating part of your Gift to build the Dream
Centre.
We thank our partners and friends who have continuously made an effort to pray, encourage and give for
the major project. As GOA celebrates 30 years of God’s faithfulness in impacting lives through church
planting, Compassion, peace building and Leadership training, our teams have made a resolution to build
the GOA Headquarter church and Offices in Nairobi Kenya. There are a series of events ahead of us. We
invite you to continuously give towards the GOA Dream Centre building project.
