01_GOA DESIGN AND CONCEPT PROPOSAL Training & Conference Center FOR GLORY OUTREACH ASSEMBLY GUEST HOUSE AND CONFERENCE CENTER


1.1. Introduction Glory Outreach Assembly has under taken plans to develop a guesthouse and conference center on our 2.5 acres Mountain View site in Naivasha, next to the Strong Tower Children Home at cost of USD. 2, 792, 021. The Idea is to create a self-sustaining project that offers state of the art conference and meeting facilities with dining and accommodation that is open to the public and that will accommodate the many group functions of the Organization. The hospitality industry in Naivasha is a growing sector, driven by the increasing number of tourists visiting the area. Naivasha is a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful lake, national parks, and flower farms. The town also serves as a convenient stopover for travelers visiting other parts of the country. According to the Kenya Tourism Board, the number of tourists visiting Naivasha has been steadily increasing in recent years, and this trend is expected to continue. This growth in tourism has led to an increase in the number of hotels, lodges, and guesthouses in the area, providing a wide range of accommodation options for visitors. Therefore as Ministry which is focused on attaining financial sustainability and by the fact that we own land in one of the most breathtaking views in Naivasha we have embarked on a journey of building and profitably running a a guest house. We have involved various stakeholders in the hospitality industry to assist us come up with a viable business strategy. The guesthouse will host 1. A conference center with a capacity of 350 individuals 2. 50 Executives rooms (Guest rooms) 3. Conference halls 4. Restaurant 5. Swimming pool It is estimated that the Guesthouse will have an annual revenue of USD 150,000. The ministry is looking for partners who will invest in this dream and make it a reality.

We will incorporate high ceilings, expansive areas, and natural light.
