Words from the Administration

The anticipation of the start of a high school baseball season has never been more
heightened than for the 2021 Palmyra Cougars. Having lost the 2020 season to the
pandemic, I know our Cougars are excited to take the field this spring. On behalf of the
Board of School Directors, the administration and staff at PASD, allow me to wish our
Palmyra Cougar Baseball team good luck on a great campaign. Remember, when you
step across the white lines, play hard, play fair, hustle and represent you and your school
incredibly well. Good luck!
Bernie Kepler, Ed.D.
Superintendent
Palmyra Area School District

Finally, Cougar Baseball we are getting a chance to see you in action! I cannot wait to see
you compete on our new field! Please enjoy this opportunity! Enjoy playing the game you
love to play; enjoy the memories you build with teammates! Remember that high school
sports are one of the best experiences and learning opportunities you will ever experience.
The memories and friendships that you will create will last a lifetime. I am proud of your
work and commitment and look forward to watching these memories unfold before our
eyes! Seize this opportunity!
Yours in Sports,
Dr. Richardson

Message from the Palmyra AD, Brian Weidler

Approximately one year ago we began hearing about the COVID-19 virus; and as a result,
our 2020 spring season was canceled. Many of us have gained a new perspective through
the adversity this disease has introduced into our lives. I believe our coaches and players
share the same outlook as I do in, we will be grateful for each and every day we are given
the opportunity to PLAY BALL!
The pandemic has not deterred our coaching staff in offering our student-athletes the
opportunity for growth and gaining more of an appreciation of how adverse conditions can
make us stronger as individuals. The time has come to put all the off-season hard work into
action. Let’s do this!
