According to industry trends and speculation, banks and other financial institutions are
likely to see an uptick in bankruptcies as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Attorney
Kate Deringer Sallie with Pillar+Aught will discuss current trends in the industry and the
issues facing banks in light of the pandemic. Kate will also provide an overview of what
duties and limitations lending institutions have when they are notified that a customer
has filed or is in the process of filing for bankruptcy.
