ANAESTHESIOLOGY Dr. Vinodh Suppiah MBBS (Malaya), FRCA (Lon), CCST (Cambridge) After graduating with an MBBS degree from Universiti Malaya in 1996, Dr. Vinodh was posted to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah where he worked for nearly 4 years. In 2000, he moved to work in the United Kingdom for specialist training, initially in North London then as a registrar at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. He obtained his FRCA in London in 2003 and then decided to pursue Paediatric Anaesthesia and Intensive Care as a subspecialty. To this end, he underwent a year of fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in 2005. After obtaining his CCT in 2007, he returned to Sabah to be the Paediatric Anaesthetic Consultant with Hospital Likas and joined Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu upon its opening in May 2015. Dr. Chu Chong Mow MD(Canada), MRCP(UK) Dr. Chu Chong Mow obtained his medical degree from Dalhousie University, Canada. He has vast experience in internal medicine. He is accredited as a member of Royal College of Physician (MRCP), Glasgow, UK. He further pursued his sub-specialty training in general cardiology, cardiac imaging and interventional cardiology. A. MB, BCH, BAO, MRCP (IRELAND) Dr. Ashraf completed his undergraduate medical training at The Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 2000. After 5 years of internal medicine training, he began his specialist training in Clinical Cardiology in 2005. In 2007, Dr Ashraf joined the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Dublin as a Clinical and Interventional Cardiology Specialist. The Mater Hospital is the National Heart and Lung Centre for Ireland, and is the tertiary referral centre for advanced, complicated and end-stage cardiac disease. In 2010, Dr Ashraf was appointed as the first ever Interventional Fellow in Cardiology at the Mater Hospital. He spent the next 3 years training in advanced interventional cardiology. His specialty is in Primary Angioplasty (the definitive treatment for Acute Myocardial Infarction), and complex coronary anatomy, including chronic occlusion of coronary arteries. He has been practising in Sabah in various capacities, including as a clinician, scientist and researcher for over a decade. He completed his undergraduate Medical Doctor (MD) from University of Sains Malaysia. Subsequently, he had postgraduate training from the Royal College of Physicians, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. After obtaining his Master Degree in Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Chuah continued his spine surgical training in Singapore General Hospital.
