58 Since October 1993, 2560 cases of police encounters have been brought into the notice of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), of them according to the NHRC 1224 cases have been found fake encounters. It means that roughly every second police encounter is fake in the country. Encounter takes place when the suspect try to escape and try to attack on police. STUDENT’S SHORT STORY (ENGLISH) Anesthetic Bullet India’s first COVID vaccine In December 2019 the Telangana police shot dead four men accused of gang raping and burning to death a veterinarian in Hyderabad. Calling their actions an encounter, the police said they had to open fire in selfdefense as the four men tried to escape and begun pelting stones. I am SHIVU SK designed this bullet which can be used in this type of situation. The bullet outer body is completely made up of rubber inside the bullet it contains a container with needle filled with anesthesia. When the bullet is fired it won’t penetrate to the body but the needle will penetrate due to the inertia of motion. By this process only the anesthesia will get injected into the body rather than the bullet. By injecting the anesthesia to the suspect it will tranquilize part of the body (foot, leg, hand) immediately and can catch hold of the suspect and continue the person with the case/jurisdiction. 64 Light . . . Every day is welcomed by sunlight For people in car or in flights Visible light is not exactly what i mean Hey teen observe the world in keen Be a boom of light in dark Like an attractive skylark Make your own mark In a beautiful, flower park Light a lamp of lava in a darkened heart And be a proud for being a special part of the crowded mart Feel pity for the helpless man on the roadside Approach him like a tide To wash away all his sorrows That his mind borrows Spread lava in your society But hey never show off you are mighty Let the people loves you For being the foggy morning dew Finding yourself in sad still remind yourself of praying the god For the happiness of your loves one Wish them to spend their day in funs May they load a pleasant moment? And find joy in every situation Sneha M.G, II Year, B.Pharm STUDENT’S POETRY (ENGLISH) Flash from the Past Everyday, every night, A memory is made. The better one brings the light, The other one just fades. Some memories bring happiness, Giving warmth to the surrounded darkness. Some memories are like dark clouds, Casting your heart always all around. Few memories are buried, Deep down the heart. These memories are so heavy to be carried, The big big tears just start, If you recall the past. Some memories are like sun rays, Beautiful and always bright. Like the happy ocean waves, Pleasing to the sight. Just make sure, To keep the sad ones far away. Have happy memories more, Keep them building in your beautiful way. Mohammed Yousuf, II Year, Pharm.D A new day, A fresh start. A beautiful change, To make life worth a glance. Metanoia
65 Times in Life Time makes us ‘Happy’ Time makes us to ‘Enjoy’ Time makes us ‘Sad’ A best moment in a minute Time c’ant be repeat Bad time makes us to remember in life Good time makes us to repeat in life What time is this? The creation of god…. Makes us as a reaction in life Time…..Time….Time Creates new moments in life Enjoy each minute Intresting definitions’ regarding time; Time is fast, when you are late Time is deadly, when you are sad Time is short, when you are happy Time is endless when you are pain Time is long when you are fell bored Every time, time is determined by your feelings and psychological conditions and not by clocks So have a nice time always…. Bi Bi Fathima, I Year, D.Pharm Society Any person dieing, the society people are marking a video. There are two types of people, one is lazy, and the other is busy. “Be careful whom you help” Life does not get easier, you just get stronger. Work smart, not harder. Everybody has their own problems, just at different levels. Don’t lose what is real; time is precious, make sure you spend it with right people. Syeda Shabnam, II Year, D.Pharm People in grave, Who were the world’s slave. Are filled with so much guilt, They have no power to even tilt. Life is beautiful and amazing, Death is scary and terrifying. The way you live, Is the way you die. Don’t take this day as granted The tomorrow isn’t promised. We make so many plans about the future, With no idea that we will be buried in the nature. Today is a gift, Use it and make a shift. Be wise, We have no clue we will get to see the next sun rise. When you look for awareness, Look at the state of your prayers. Difficulties can make us weak, But there is the LORD to seek Do good things and give charity, Try to achieve highest level of purity. Avoid mood swings, Life is too short so Don’t make it about things. Zaiba Shareef, V Year, Pharm.D
