RULES & REGULATION 1 1.0 INTRODUCTION TO AL FATEH INTEGRATION SCHOOL 1.1 INTRODUCTION TO AL FATEH INTEGRATION PRIMARY SCHOOL (AFIPS) ▪ At AFIPS, we acknowledge ourselves as a learning-focused school. We aim to provide the skills, knowledge, and mentality to our pupils to help them become successful learners. To achieve this, we will introduce them to a good learning system and the purpose behind it. ▪ Furthermore, we integrate Islamic education with Academic education. At the same time, we cultivate the Sunnah in all our student's activities. This will shape their personality to become a good Muslim/Muslimah. ▪ The school exposes students to high-quality instruction in their daily activities in the classroom. The school also provides a media center and a science lab to introduce them to hands-on activities that relate to classroom theories. ▪ We also focus on the physical education program and co-curriculum. Living Skills room 6.0 SCHOOL RULES & REGULATIONS 6.1 SCHOOL HOURS YEAR 1 TO YEAR 3 School hour : 7.40 am - 3.30 pm Friday : 8.00 am - 12.00 pm YEAR 4 TO YEAR 6 School hour : 7.40 am - 4.00 pm Friday : 8.00 am - 12.00 pm Full-day time : 8.00 am – 6.00 pm • Students must come to school early before 7.40 am to make it easier for the class teacher to take record of students arrival at school, APDM KPM and food order. 6.2 LATE CHARGES YEAR 1 TO YEAR 3 ▪ RM30.00 (per hour) will be charged to the parents who pick up their children after 4.30 pm except for Club hour. RM 50.00 will be charged in the second hour. ▪ For Full-day session, RM30.00 (per hour) will be charged to the parents who pick up their children after 6.00 p.m. RM 50.00 will be charged in the second hour. ▪ The school will be closed at 7.00 pm. Later than 7.00 pm, the students will be staying with the guard. YEAR 4 TO YEAR 6 ▪ RM30.00 (per hour) will be charged to the parents who pick up their children after 5.00 pm except for co-curriculum. RULES & REGULATION 8 ▪ The school will be closed at 7.00 pm. Later than 7.00 pm, the students will be staying with the guard. 6.3 MONTHLY FEES ▪ Parents must pay the monthly fees between the first to the fifth day of every month. ▪ Students cannot sit for the examination and cannot join school any activities until the parents pay the monthly fees. RULES & REGULATION 9 Parents who want to change full day package to normal package or normal package to full day package are only allowed to do so at the beginning of the new semester 6.4 ATTENDANCE ▪ Attendance and punctuality are essential for the child`s academic progress and character training ▪ A formal letter from the parents of an absent student must be presented to the class teacher when the student returns to school. It will become of the attendance file. ▪ Unwell students must not be sent to school, especially those who are suffering from infectious diseases. They may return to school when completely cured. ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL Absent for 1 Day Letter from parent To be submitted to the teacher. Absent for More than 1 day Medical Certificate Absent during Exam (for one day or more) Medical Certificate 6.5 PARENT/GUARDIAN RULES a) INVITING CHILDREN BACK/ EARLY RETURN • If someone other than the parent/guardian who picks up the child, please inform the class teacher/security guard of the individual's name and vehicle number. • If parents/guardians want to pick up their children early, please inform the class teacher/security guard in advance. • Parents can pick up their children early if they have already get a phone call from the school/class teacher/teacher on duty


RULES & REGULATION 10 with the permission of the class teacher due to illness or not feeling well. • Parents must fill in the early return student book form at the security guard hut before picking up their child. b) PARENTS/GUARDIANS NOT ALLOWED: • Parents/guardians are in the school area for a long time, especially during curriculum time because it will interfere with the student's learning process. • Parents/guardians enter the school area during recess to give food to the students. Parents are advised to ask the help of the security guards to hand over the food to the children. • Parents are not allowed to meet the class teacher during the learning process. • Parents/guardians cannot meet with any teacher regarding child discipline without making an appointment with the principal.

Students must arrive and leave school in a clean and full uniform. 3. Students must wear proper black songkok. 4. Name tag must be sewn below the school badge. 5. All accessories like bracelets and others are not allowed. 6. Wallet chains must not be dangling outside the pocket. 7. Wear plain black socks and black shoes. Socks worn must be visible. 8. Students must be clean-shaven; no facial hair is allowed. 9. The side of the hair should not touch ears. 10. The name tag must be sewn below the school badge. 5. All accessories like bracelets and others are not allowed. 6. Wallet chains must not be dangling outside the pocket. 7. Wear plain black socks and black shoes. Socks worn must be visible. 8. Nails must be kept short and clean without nail polish. RULES & REGULATION 16 NECESSARY SUPPLIES TO BRING TO SCHOOL ▪ Each student must bring their own stationery such as pencils, erasers, rulers, pencil boxes, and pencil color or watercolor. ▪ The school provides plain water at every level of the school. Students need to bring their cup or tumbler with their name written. ▪ Students must bring their praying garments and mat with their name written clearly ▪ Students need to bring a pair of slippers with their names written and kept at the school. 8.1 ITEMS NOT ALLOWED IN SCHOOL: ▪ Toys. The school will not be responsible for any lost items. ▪ Sweets / Chewing gum. ▪ Pupils are not permitted to exchange toys, book, pencil and others with their classmates. ▪ Electronic devices: Mobile phones, radios, compact disc players, hand-held computer games, electronic/video games and MP3 Players are strictly prohibited. ▪ Sharp objects such as pen knives and metal rulers. ▪ Correction taps or fluid. ▪ Any other items that will interrupt the learning process. ▪ Jewelry is not permitted, except for a pair of earrings for girls.


RULES & REGULATION 17 9.0 SECURITY AND SAFETY ▪ For the sake of the students’ safety, we appeal to parents not to speed around the school compound. Parents should walk their children to the gate. Kindly do not park the vehicle in front of the gate to avoid congestion during peak hours. 7.00 am – 7.45 am and 3.20 pm – 4.00 pm ▪ Honking nearby the school premises is not allowed. ▪ Safety needs to be concerned and maintained by parents. ▪ In the case of a student’s illness while at school, the school will call the parents’ or guardian’s telephone number on the list. ▪ Parents are responsible for arranging the transportation of their children after school ends. 10.0 SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ▪ All students must participate in all school activities. ▪ If the parents wish to have a students' birthday celebration at school, please inform the class teacher a week in advance. Students birthday celebration are allowed only once a month at the end of the month. 11.0 SCHOOL BOOKS / PROGRESS REPORT / IMMUNIZATION REPORT ▪ All students must write their names on textbooks, exercise books, and notebooks. Please wrap the books and keep them clean. In cases of lost or damaged books, please replace it with a new book. ▪ Students must keep all the school books at school. When teachers assign homework to the students, ensure that the books are returned to be mark. ▪ After examination, the class teachers will give a copy of the students' progress report to the parents. The school will keep another copy of the progress report. ▪ New students must hand over a copy of an immunization report to the school.


RULES & REGULATION 18 12.0 DISCIPLINE 12.1 INTRODUCTION TO DISCIPLINE • Discipline is a training of the thought and behavior to familiarize the person with their self-control. If the person failed to follow the prescribed rules, then the person will be punished or penalized. • In school, discipline relates to the actions taken by the Board of School Discipline or the school organization towards a student (or group of students) when their behavior disrupts the ongoing educational activity or breaks a rule created by the school. • The punishment should be carried out according to Surat Pekeliling Ikhtisas and existing regulations from the Ministry of Education. • The school will take the measures needed to produce effective disciplinary management. A school with a good discipline will create a conducive teaching and learning environment towards achieving academic excellence. • Parents are expected to cooperate with the school by enforcing self-control and discipline, and by maintaining a positive encouragement to students. i) The common types of pupils’ misconduct: 1. Late attendance to school 2. Truancy from school 3. Long and unkempt hair 4. Skips class 5. Interrupting the teaching and learning process 6. Vandalism (damaging school property) 7. Incomplete school uniform.


RULES & REGULATION 19 Apart from the school, the parents also need to pay attention to the problem and gives co-operation for the children’s benefit. RULES & REGULATION 20 Appeals/Special Cases For cases of heavy misconduct/criminal offences; The Headmaster, Headmaster’s Assistant, Disciplinary Teacher and School Counselor will handle the case. HEAVY MISCONDUCT / CRIMINAL OFFENSES Gambling Stealing the school’s belongings/kiosks/laboratories/libraries, break into the restricted area Fight/threaten/ hit / injure administrators, pupils, school staff and teachers Fighting / threatening / hitting / injuring prefects Blackmails/supervisors, friends, teachers Bullying / injuring other pupils Bring dangerous weapons Molesting Threatening/punching/ injuring other pupils Break into a classroom / special room / kiosk / canteen / school office Protesting and disturbing the peace of the school Bring in an outsider to the school area Burning school ground/school property/teacher’s property Destroy/damage official documents Fighting with friends until causing an injury Bring and play firecrackers Sniffing glue Bringing hallucinating materials Bringing, selling, publishing pornographic materials Doing something that affects the power of the headmaster or the teacher in charge. *** If the pupil is convicted for serious offence/crime, the parent or guardian will be called to the school.
