The start of an exciting future
The accommodation facility for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in Townsville was rst announced in August. Cowboys ambassadors Johnathan Thurston, Matthew Bowen and Ray Thompson were there to tour the site. Cowboys Community Foundation together with the Department of Housing and Public Works made the o cial announcement when construction was at the halfway line.
Taking shape for 2019
Situated next door to the Boys Campus in the heart of Townsville, construction is now nearing completion. The team, with the support of Skytrans, have been on the road seeking applications for 25 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young women from remote communities across northern Queensland to join us in 2019.
ENROLMENTS OPEN
