Obituary

Ryan Andre Pearson passed away Friday, April 1, 2022. He was born on December 16, 1975, in Harbor City, California and
was the third child of Harold and Kathryn Pearson. His family moved to North Long Beach, California 1975 where he was born
and raised.
Ryan grew up in North Long Beach, California on a street that was family oriented and filled with children of all ages. He would
often play outside every day until the streetlights came on. Charles Kelly moved into the neighborhood and was the founder of
the Scott Street Kids. To be a Scott Street Kid you must get good grades in school, listen to your parents, willing to learn new
skills, and have fun. Here is where Ryan fell in love woodwork.
Ryan was affectionately known as R.A.P., RYAN P., and recently BRUNO.
Ryan dedicated his life to making his kids happy. Being a big kid himself, if he could turn the house into a playground he would.
And did! Every time a new game video games came out Ryan would buy it for the children, but it really was for him.
Ryan would often try his culinary skills. You were sure to taste the seasoning. If Ryan had a choice of foods, it would be shrimp
he was the first Bubba Gump.
Ryan would often ask you to watch a movie or TV series with him. You know if he already seen the movie or TV series, he was
going to narrate each scene. At Mom’s house we knew where you could find Ryan watching TV. He could recommend the best
shows. Ryan loved watching battle raps. The words they use to get at their opponents impressed him. Ryan had a love for words.
As a child he would often fall asleep reading and in the morning, he would have awoken on several books. If you knew Ryan, his
articulation skills were Immaculate no matter what the conversation.
Ryan was educated and graduated from the Long Beach Unified School District. He then went on to attend NTMA Machinist
Career College where he received certification has a machinist. He became a machinist and handyman for hire. Ryan was a
Hustler by all meaning of the word to provide for his children. No job was too small. If he didn’t know how to it, he’ll read up
on it.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Pearson whom he admired and inspired to be.
Ryan leaves to cherish his memories: Mother, Kathryn Pearson; children, Avery (AV), Ayriana (Yani), Angelique (Starr Baby),
