Sister Jennifer King

Sunrise: May 20, 1960 Sunset: March 22, 2017

Jennifer was born in Los Angeles, CA to Oscar Tolen King and
Willie King. She was the youngest of seven children. She
attended San Fernando High School. Jennifer accepted Jesus
Christ at an early age, and rededicated her life to the Lord as an
adult. Jennifer loved her entire family, especially her mother
and sons. She enjoyed spending time with the family on special
occasions cooking and eating, making sure they enjoyed
themselves. Jennifer did not know a stranger, as she made
everyone she met a friend. She loved music of all kinds. She
was naturally inquisitive and courageous which is why she was
known to many as the “go to person” for any kind of trivia you
wanted to know. She regularly reached out to family and
friends afar through Facebook.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father Oscar Tolen King,
brother Oscar (Chuck) King, sisters Audrey, and Victoria
(Vicky) King.

She is survived by her sons Mykel and Marcus King, her mother
Willie Burns (Rafe), her Aunt Bonnie Milo, her brothers Stacy
King (Tassa); Lamont Brown, sisters; Rhea Songa (Songa) King,
and Brenda Yarber. Nieces; Lisa Eddings, Tassa Varga (Zoltan),
Shyann, Sheroki, Tomoi, and Janika King. Nephews; Shawn
Newson, Norman Wollaston, Edward Jacobs, Lionel Reynolds,
Derrick King and Marquise Harris. Cousins; Victoria (Vickie)
Haggerty, Jerry Haggerty (Roslyn), Kennith Lovely (Katrina),
Nita Milo, Vernon Milo (Carmen), Kelvin Milo, Nina Beverly
(John), Tye Merritt (Victor), Lavern, Bill, and Robert (Bobby)
Alexander, Fred, Connie, Myra, and Pookie Brown, and a host of
extended family and friends.
