The Life Reflections “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all” Proverbs 31:29 On the glorious summer morning of July 29, 1960, Renee Denise Dale was welcomed into the world under the union of Lawrence Dale and Shirley Ann Dale in Los Angeles, CA. Renee was raised in a loving Christian home, stemming from generation of Christian ancestors. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Grove MBC in Los Angeles under the leadership Pastor W.H Charles Sr. As Renee’s relationship developed and grew in Christ so did her desire to bring others to Christ. As a young adult Renee participated in a Christian Ministry on the UCLA campus in which she evangelized and spread the word of God to all she encountered. Renee ensured that every member of her family knew the importance and necessity of having a personal relationship with God. Renee would always be willing to offer a prayer and scripture to provide guidance and encouragement. Renee attended the local schools in the City of Carson. After graduating Phineas Banning High School, she attended UCLA where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Renee’s passion for children and teaching led her to obtain a Master of Arts in Education and an Administrative Services Credential at California State University Los Angeles as well as her Teaching Credential from California State University Northridge. Renee began her teaching career in 1986 in which she had an area of expertise in kindergarten through the 6th grade. She taught over 25 years with the Los Angeles Unified School District and a year with the Elk Grove Unified School District in Northern California. Renee also worked as a High Academic Gifted Coordinator for 4 years. Renee’s passion about social justice and equality, and uplifting the disadvantage led her to obtain her Law degree from Trinity Law School. Renee will be remembered most for her love of learning and value of education. Over the years, Renee has been instrumental in instilling a love for learning in the lives of her family and friends. Renee has mentored and inspired many to pursue higher education especially in the field of teaching. Although Renee enjoyed teaching, she also enjoyed living life and having a good time. She would bring joy and laughter to everyone in her presence; her smile would light up the room. Renee had an unconditional love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She especially loved her mother and would often spend quality time praying, reading scriptures, and caring for her. As a child, Renee enjoyed camping and traveling with her family. As an adult, her passion for traveling continued especially to her favorite historical places such as Williamsburg, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Renee enjoyed shopping in which she was a fashionista with her own elegant style. She would often enhance her outfit with a blazer and pearls. Although Renee loved to shop, she also loved to buy gifts for others. She had a giving spirit in which she would often give gifts to others without hesitation. On Monday, January 30, 2023, Renee was called home to be with the Lord. Her memory will continue to live forever in our hearts, and her family and friends will deeply miss her. When the heaven gates open, God called Renee home to reunite with her loved ones who preceded her in death: her father (Lawrence Dale), grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins - who all welcomed her with open arms. Remaining to uphold a lifetime of cherished memories are: her mother, Shirley Ann Dale; five sisters, Robin Smith, Loveann Goldsmith, Karen Dale, Lori Dale (Craig), Kathy Dale; two aunts Carolyn Hilt, Julie Lee; Five nieces Janetta Carter (Randy), Cornisha Goldsmith, Jessica Cohen, Jasmin Mapp, Javonya Smith; Five nephews, Quentin Williams, Justin Grundy, Jason Sims, Francois Sims, Jarron Mapp; Cousins- Yolanda Clark (Kenneth), Paulette Smith, Gayle Smith, Sharon Kay Session (Keith), Yvonne Smith, Michael Hilt (Debbie), Brian Hilt, and Gary Hilt.
