Amara Renee Davis
Sunrise March 10, 2017 ~ Sunset June 8, 2022

Our precious princess, Amara Renee Davis, beloved daughter of Da’Shawn and Tamara
Davis, of Victorville, CA went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Amara’s
light shined bright throughout her five years and 89 days; bringing joy and happiness
to everyone she touched.
Amara’s arrival was eagerly anticipated and although she arrived premature, she was
welcomed and received by her family with so much love and affection. Her little body
fought to live and to thrive, “Daddy’s Little Warrior” defied all the odds and by the
Grace of God, outlived the predictions that medical technology and practitioners had
for her.
Affectionately known to all as Mar-Mar, she was our miracle baby and we were all
blessed by knowing her. What she was not able to do physically, she inspired others
to. She turned bright eyed newlyweds into awesome parents, who became her champions
and formed #AmaraStrong to advocate for her and other children with Cerebral Palsy.
Much like Jesus in his final hours on this earth, in his silence there was a wonderfully
magnificent display of power; and without ever speaking a word, our darling Amara
made a similar impact. Because of her we were moved to love more deeper than before;
we were moved to pray more earnest than before, and we were filled with hope like
never before.
Amara’s bright star shone briefly while in her human body and we are full of gratitude
for the time that she spent with us. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her
baby sister Aubrey; maternal grandparents, Gregory and Tammy Alaman; paternal
grandmother, Tasha Heisel; paternal great-grandmother, Pat Heisel; maternal aunt, Tia
Alaman; paternal uncle, Dominic Davis and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins,
other relatives and friends.
