April Ethel Boam

November 9, 1942 - October 17, 2016

April Ethel Boam, passed away October 17, 2016 after a
short illness in St. Louis, MO, where she lived with Tina. Mickey
was born on November 9, 1942 in Pawnee, MO. She moved to the
St. Louis area when she was 2 years old with her parents and
sisters, Ally and Joan. She was a graduate of St. Louis Poly in
1960. She married her life long love, Jim August 5, 1960 in
Bremerton, WA.

They traveled many places when Jim was in the Navy.
She always made each place a home. She had a special touch for
making a warm and cozy home no matter how short a time
they were going to be there.

April was an active member of the Hospital Guild at
Western Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of the AZB
sorority. In 2007 after Jim died, she moved to be closer to Tina.

She was proceded in death by her husband Jim in
January 2007 and her son Simon in November 2008.

She is survived by her daughter Tina Boam McInnes,
daughter-in-law Helena Jeanne Boam, four grandchildren,
Mary Boam, Amelia Boam, Seth McInnes, and Jerry McInnes.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister,
aunt and friend. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is smiling down on us today from a better place.
