No matter the pressure One Love from me, Lady D
To my son Master, whom I lovingly call Masterie,
You are a beautiful and kind loving soul. I remember when you first came into my life like it was
just yesterday. You were beaming with joy, high energy and filled with love.
You completed our family.
You were an awesome artist. I still have my first Mother’s Day card You made me when you were
in grade school. It is one of the most beautiful cards I ever received. You put all your efforts into
making that card for me.. You beamed with joy when you gave it to me and saw the big smile on
my face and big and embraced the hug I gave you when I said thank you!
That was the essence of who you were. Kind, loving, giving and caring.
I remember the times you and I would binge watch twilight zone especially around the holidays
when it aired twenty for hours a day. You and I would get snacks, sit in front of the tv watch our
show and laugh. Fun days. It was our favorite tv show to watch together. I can’t watch twilight
zone without thinking about you.
I also remember your favorite fragrance. It was lavender. It had a calming affect on you.
I kept it in the bathroom. When you felt unhappiness, you would rub it in the palm of your hands
and it would calm you down. When we ran out you would remind me to buy some more.
Life has not been easy for you. With all the love you came struggles. And so we are here now to
say our final goodbye. Never I my life did I ever think I would be writing a letter to you that is so
final. You brought me and your brothers, Diamond, Erwin, Kenny, Keian and Andrew, your other
moms (Florann) and Ms. Ruby, our family members, friends and so many others joy.
Thank you for sharing your love and light with us. You will remain forever in our hearts.
I love you when I first saw you and love you still. All of us, your entire family love you.
Rest In Peace son. You have fulfilled your purpose here on earth and have been called by our
Creator to return to HIM.
I love you Masterie
~Mom

You may not always know why a person comes into your life
You may not always know how a person in your life will affect you or you them
It’s always best to be kind and plant good seeds into fertile soil
I know that you experienced lots of challenges throughout your life but
you continued to smile and laugh through it all
I feel so blessed to have played such an integral role in your life
and the journey you started with the family that embraced you as their own
What a blessing for you to have met your biological family before you transitioned
You were such a light in this world where you saw so much darkness
I thank God for the times we had together and for your memory
in acknowledging the significance they made in your life
God blessed me with 2 boys that were brought into this world by Siscely, cared for by Agnes
and that I too could call my own. You will FOREVER be in my heart.
I love you son! May your soul now rest from the troubles of this world.
Florann
