Hamilton held a weekly radio broadcast for over 20 years Sean Hamilton and a host of cousins, friends, church

A Letter to My Godfather
Pastor Amos Hamilton
How do I begin explaining or acknowledging a God-fearing and loving
man named Amos Hamilton? He was the pastor of Macedonia Church of
God in Christ where I started my journey in life and grew up learning to
love God. Pastor Hamilton would always welcome newcomers and old
members back when they were gone with open arms. When I was a little
girl, I remember sitting on his lap as I played with his fingers, looking at
his ties and having conversations with him as my mom would sing for the
congregation. Pastor Amos Hamilton was not only a pastor, husband,
father and much more, but he was my godfather. When I had questions
or didn’t want to be alone while my mom sang, he would let me sit with
him in the pulpit! He was a blessing to many and when others didn’t agree
with things he said, he stood by his workd and the bible. I will always til
the day I take my last breathe, remember my godfather Pastor Hamilton
as a loving, wholesome, truthful man of God. He without a doubt will
always and forever be a part of me and who I am because of his patience
and willingness to accept me when I was a baby as his goddaughter.
I will always love you and no one can replace you in my heart.
