1. Build a  Skills: Teamwork, speed, strength, balance.
House Race
 Time requirement: A racing event

 Space requirement: 1 basketball court

 How to: there will be a team of 5 through 10, it is a race to one
end to the other. All the team players will assume the house
position, then the last person will crawl under the rest of the
team, once to the other side, assume the house position. Last
person will repeat the process. Continue till reach the end.

2. Cup Stack  Skills: Speed, delicacy, teamwork
Race
 Time requirement: Racing event

 Space requirement: 10 yards of distance with a large table

 How to: Can divide the students into 2 or 3 teams and it will be a
relay race to stack the cups up. Whichever team builds first wins. If
the stack falls at any point, they must restart.

3. Fire and Ice  Skills: Speed and awareness
Tag
 Time requirement: Rounds will be less than 5 minutes

 Space requirement: A basketball court of 1 or 2

 How to: There will be 3 people set freezers and 1 person will be set
as a flame thrower. The goal of the game is not to be tagged by
freezers. If tagged, you must freeze and hope for a flamethrower
to unfreeze you. Game over when everyone is frozen.

 Freezers and flame throwers cannot tag each other
 Freezers will have a blue ball or vest. Flame throwers will have a red

ball or vest.

4. 3 Blind Mice  Skills: Communication

 Time requirement: 10 minutes

 Space requirement: A basketball court

 How to: Teams of 3 will guide each other one at a time to retrieve
bean bags from one side and bring it back. There will cones you
will have to go around. Whoever has the most bean bags win. Or
who retrieves all of them first wins.

5.  Skills: Speed
Exterminator
 Time requirement: 10 minutes or less

 Space requirement: 1 or 2 basketball courts

 How to: 1 person will be the exterminator. Must have an object to
be identified. They will tag players until there is no one left. If
tagged you will assume the dead bug position.

6. Crab Attack  Skills: Speed

 Time requirement: 10 minutes or less

 Space requirement: 1 basketball court

 How to: there will be 5 people set as crabs. They will crab walk and
tag people. If you are not tagged, you are allowed to be on your
feet. Once tagged, you become a crab and will tag others.

7. Zoo  Skills: Speed
 Time requirement: rounds of 3 minutes
 Space requirement: 1 or 2 basketball courts
 How to: There will be 2-5 students with evil balls to tag people.

The others will try to avoid the students with the evil balls. If
tagged, you will get down on your hands and knees.You will then
have to act and sound like an animal. Another person will have to
guess what animal you are. If the other student is tagged while
guessing, they will act like the same animal.You may whisper the
animal to the second player.

8. Spider Web  Skills: Speed and agility
Run
 Time requirement: When game over

 Space requirement: 1 basketball court

 How to: There will be 2 people in the middle of the court as
taggers. The rest of the students will be lined up on one end and
will try to make it to the other side by outrunning and out reaching
the taggers.

9. Sharks and  Skills: Speed and stealth
Minnows
 Time requirement: Play as many rounds in 20 minutes

 Space requirement: basketball court

 How to: One person will be the shark. The rest of the class will be
minnow where they will have to outrun and fake the shark. All the
minnows will line up on one side and will try to make it to the
other side to be safe. Whoever is tagged will become the shark for
the next round.

10. Cat’s  Skills: Speed, accuracy
Corners
 Time requirement: Rounds of 2 minutes

 Space requirement: 1 basketball court

 How to: 2 to 4 throwers will be in the center of the court. They will
be trying to hit the students running from the corners. The
remaining students will be 4 safe corners of the court. When
signaled, the students will run to any corner o their choice and try
not to get hit by the throwers.

11. Tug of war  Skills: Speed, strength, team work

 Time requirement: 3 Rounds

 Space requirement:

 How to: Teams of 5 will be placed on each side of the rope. They
will be in the laying position with toes on the rope. When given the
command, they will race to get up and grab the rope and begin to
pull. First team, to pull the opposite team across the mid point
wins.

12. Stepping  Skills: Teamwork, speed
Stones
 Time requirement: Racing event

 Space requirement: basketball court

 How to: A team of 5 or 6 will work together in getting across to the
other side of the court. For each person on a team, they will have
the same number of hoola-hoops. They will have to step into the
hoola-hoops to move forward and pass on the last hoola-hoop to
the front to move forward.
