4. RECEIVING AND ADOPTING OF AGM REPORT
4.1 FINANCIAL REPORT
4.1.1 A word of thanks to Elder Chin for managing the church finances and to
Sister Lay Hwa for auditing the accounts.
4.1.2 Amendment :
“Statement of Income and Expenditure As of 31.12.2018”
4.1.3 Mr Liew Kok Shen proposed that a balance sheet be incorporated in the
Financial Report so that members can see the value of assets and the net
worth of the church.
Action : Elder Chin will take note of the proposal and act accordingly.

4.1.4 Mr Ng Kuang Siah asked whether interest is paid for the funds in the
church current account. He proposed that fixed deposit account be
opened as the amount in the current account has exceeded RM100K.
Action : Elder Chin has already transferred funds into a fixed deposit
account and interest is paid for the current account.
4.2 KIDS’ KINGDOM REPORT
Day / Time : 4.30 p.m to 6.00 p.m on Saturday
Challenges faced : More teachers needed and number of children has not
increased. Average attendance is about 12 per week.
Proposal : Members from Youth Group can help out in this area.
4.3 CELL GROUP
4.3.1 Materials from the booth exhibition can be kept in the manse.
4.3.2 Attendance for CG meetings is not consistent resulting in some groups not
meeting.
4.3.3 There is no growth in numbers in each cell group.
4.3.4 No proper direction as what to do in each CG.
4.3.5 No commitment from CG members to help organise activities.
Proposal :
a) Workshops on how to lead in CG, worship etc conducted by Rev. Daniel.
b) Invite young adults from other churches to have fellowship.
c) Recognise that different age groups face different challenges. To help
build relationships - CGs can do community work together or take up
project-based activities in church ministries.
4.4 BOYS’ BRIGADE
4.4.1 There are volunteers but only 3 are christians. Grace Teng and Hiew Nyok
Kah have left for work.
4.4.2 Officers need to adjust activities as the mindset of new generation is different.
However, it is a rewarding ministry as many of the ex-BB members come
back willingly to help whenever possible.
Proposal :
a) Church members should try to be more involved in the ministry as the
ministry is a big harvest area for sharing the gospel.
b) Young adults and youths should also help out on a project basis to form
better understanding.

4. The Chairman informed the congregation that the EGM was held to
pass the resolution below. Three announcements have been made and
members have been given 3 weeks to hand in proposals.
The Secretary informed the congregation that no proposal was received.
Hence, the members will vote on the resolution.
RESOLUTION:
To build a building on 16A & 18A , Jln Sekolah Cina ( Manse ) with the
prerequisite that the title deed to be transferred to a church member and
the Church to purchase the land behind the manse.
