Overview description of your students (how many, age, language level, and purposes for studying English) 20 students aged 13,language level A2, to learn all skills of English Language (speaking, reading , listening and writing) 2. What aspect(s) of critical thinking does this lesson work on? Giving clear perspectives , analyzing pictures 3. What aspect(s) of intercultural awareness and culture does this lesson work on? Daily routines and life style in the two pictures (America and Egypt) and micro culture issues and comparing them with students’ views. 4. In this lesson, I anticipate students will be challenged by: Observe and think critically before making a final judgment about what they see and what they understand. Vocabulary: identify the elements in the pictures as much as they can. 5. To address these challenges, I plan to (note the specific activities that will address these challenges): Use structure as There is/ There are to describe the pictures . Use Yes/No questions. Present the difficult vocabulary at the beginning of the session by using flash cards or PPT 6. This is the way I will assess my students (note specific stages and specific activities that you will use for assessment): I will show students the 1st picture in the USA and ask them to write about all ( people, place, activities )in the picture and try to guess the connection between them and what they are doing and then show them the 2nd different picture in Egypt and compare between them.

Then ask students to read them aloud then ask students to work in pars to correct the paragraphs and the teacher provide4s them with a rubric. Give students a rubric to evaluate their colleagues’ paragraphs. Ask students to reflect on all the information presented and ask them to say what they learned and what are the things they still need to know about and how do they feel about these activities.
