Obituary
L isa Michelle was the youngest of three children born to Clifford and Claudia Ross on
January 6th, 1966. She was a brilliantly precocious child, with an infectious smile,
who mastered the art of conversation at an early age and did so frequently. Upon
her graduation from Hawthorne High School, she took various courses at Southwest
College and began her family, at an early age.
She married and gave birth to seven children: Jennifer, Glenisa, Glendall, Joshua, Alisa, Michael and
Alia. She loved each one of them, individually and collectively. She was actively involved with them
throughout their lives by keeping them academically astute and athletically active in track, football,
basketball and softball. She set the tone by running and finishing in two Los Angeles Marathons. A
true example of practicing what you preached.
PROOF
She later worked in the Los Angeles Unified School District, as a Teacher Assistant for several years,
followed by a career as a Home Healthcare Paraprofessional until she was incapacitated by her illness.
Lisa became ill about ten years ago and began having minor strokes that eventually was diagnosed as
a congenital disease caused by an inherited defective gene. She was a brave and courageous fighter to
the end and remained strong through her faith in God, his Wisdom and His Mercy.
She leaves to mourn, in addition to the above-mentioned children, her husband Colton, stepson
Jacob, Grandchildren, Micah, Kyle, Zola and Kaiden, Mother Claudia, stepfather Samuel, brother
Clifford, sisters Christine and Aisha. Her beloved Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and
Friends
She remains to be our spark of laughter, our bundle of joy, our source of wisdom, strength and
common sense. We Love you; we will carry you in our spirit always. Rest our Angel and take Peace
for a Job Well Done.
WE WILL “LOVE YOU FOREVER, LIKE YOU FOR ALWAYS, AS LONG AS WE’RE LIVING,
OUR LISA YOU’LL BE.”
Forever Loved
