OBITUARY Rubin Bellamy Sr. was born July 4th, 1953 to the proud parents, Joseph and Lizzie Bellamy in Georgia. Both parents preceded him in death. He relocated with his parents to Los Angeles, California. Rubin accepted Christ in his life at a young age attending New Brown Grove Baptist Church and greater Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Los Angeles . Rubin received his education in the Los Angeles School district. Later in 1972 he went to the job corp where he graduated and was president of his class. He went into his career as a machinist working for several different aircraft companies such as Garnet aircraft and Martin, Marietta, building material company and many others. Rubin was a very hard working man always providing for his family and children. Rubin loved his family and was always the center of attention everywhere he went. Rubin leaves to mourn his wife: Connie Bellamy, his children: Tamika ( Damon SR ) , Rubin Jr., Sheterra , shawnarick , and Marquis Bellamy. 8 grandchildren Symone (Joshua ),Damon Jr., I Taliyah, shakir, Syrah, Shai-lei , jhalia , and symphony bellamy. 2 great grandchildren: syjai Harris and Joshua Harris Jr. Siblings: 2 Brothers Carde Bellamy (Wanda) , I, and Luther Lewis. 2 sisters: E Carol Butler (Floyd) & Gernele Johnson. A host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. 4 of Rubin’s siblings preceded him in death. Shirley Levine, Gregory Bellamy, George and Kenneth Lewis. PROOF

TRIBUTES To my father Big Rubin we wasn’t expecting this call from God to put his hands on you. Life is so long but very short but you lived your life to the fullest. I love you pops. I’m stuck in this cell with these tears coming down my face. Feeling dumb for the times we could have shared , you Calling my phone telling me to bring your grandkids. our bond was unconditional there’s a lot of hurt going on inside of me trying to understand this situation but as I think of the good memories I just start barking like a dog and remember I’m Lil Rubin. It’s so much running through my head but I know you are watching over me. I really miss you Dad and will forever hold this down because you have raised me to be the man I need to be as you use to Tell me when I was little, “See you later alligator” I love you pops Lil Rubin My dad was a real superhero no really , he could fly and he had superhuman powers but he only used it around me. My dad greatest power was his ability to adjust to any situation in life. I’ve seen my dad at the highest mountain top and the lowest valley and still flying above the clouds. I was sitting here remembering my dad haircut for those who don’t know. It was a old school fresh flat top. I got my hair like that and went to school later that evening. I was cutting my hair and going to a different school.dad I want you to know with all your imperfections. I always saw you perfect. Nothing will ever change that. Thank you for all the perfect memories. Your youngest son Marquis J. Bellamy FROM YOUR FIRST BORN TAMIKA Dad, I will always remember and love you forever. You and I had a relationship like no other , You was my ride or die. You taught me so many different things regarding this thing called life, and I will always cherish those memories. But the most important thing you taught me was to keep God first in everything I do, No matter what type of lifestyle I chose some say I’m strong. Some say I’m hardcore but to lay my father to rest is the hardest thing I ever had to do but I just know one thing. I will always be Daddy’s little girl and you taught me well. Love to Tamika PROOF
