Obituary
On Decemeber 17, 2014 the angel came and lifted the spirit of our
beloved Diamond. She has only slipped quietly through the doors into the
dawn of a brighter day. If you could feel the touch of her hand, you would
want to walk there too. Diamond, affectionately called “Miracle”, was a
loving, kind, generous, outspoken, courageous, and feisty young lady.
Diamond Renee Joy Davis was born on October 25, 1993 in Los
Angeles, CA at the California Medical Center. Diamond, a.k.a. “Miracle”
and “The Princess”, grew up in the Los Angeles area where she also
attended school and graduated from North Hollywood Adult Learning
Center.
Diamond was a unique person that faced many challenges throughout
her young life, but she did not let that stop her from achieving the things
she wanted in life. During the last years of her life she was given the
opportunity to travel to many places. She began to inspire others through
her motivational speaking.
Diamond would be found encouraging others in spite of her own
health issues. Everyone at UCLA Medical Center located in Westwood,
CA knew who Diamond Davis was including doctors, nurses, staff
members, as well as the patients. Diamond was a Hello Kitty fanatic. She
loved to dance as well as shop.
Diamond was called home from labor on Wednesday morning,
December 17, 2014. She will be greatly missed. She leaves to cherish
her love and memories her extended family, which included her devoted
guardian and caretaker her “Tee Tee” Betty R. Pierce and Alvin Pierce of
Gardena, CA; her loving best friends and sisters: Para Ross,
Stephanie Ross, Romika Davis of Gardena, CA, Simone Khan of
Hawthorne, CA; her godmother Rose Turner-Rush of Los Angeles, CA;
her brothers: Steven Ross Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Taiwain Pierce, Paul
Rudolph, Shun Pierce, Lionel Pierce of Gardena, CA; special friends:
