PROOFSpecial Tributes
Be Yourself (voice of Tommie Lee Walker, Jr.)
When I was 14, and I first went to jail, I was being a follower
I never heard the end of it, all you did was holla
You always told me son, don’t mess with these busters
I do stuff by myself because you can’t trust a muthaf****
Every time I went against what you taught me I failed
Since I been away from you I figured it out very well
There's more to life out there than to keep coming to jail
I must remain sucka free and live life with my girl
You always told me since a kid she gon' be my rida
And your definition of a rida is my mama
The best thing you taught me was to be myself
No matter who, what or where until my death
I’m so blessed and thankful you taught me that skill
I’m so blessed and thankful I was able to be myself around you, to you, and you
respect it still
The friendship we built is very amazing
You’re the best dad ever can’t nobody fade you
The one that gives it his or her all is the one I respect the most 109%
The key to being yourself is knowing yourself and to be yourself no matter what no
one felt
The one who respects you for being yourself is the one you should love always and
forever
Daddy I respect yo gangsta and we have the same blood and the heart of a champion
Sincerely,
Thomas Lee Walker
