樂曲介紹 你見過彩虹䆩？彩虹於不同的神話及宗教中，都有著不同的象徵意義。例如，是上帝跟䮾亞及他的子孫所立的 約、可以是希望、可以是永恆、可以是和平、彩虹的盡頭又或是寶藏的所在。但無論如何，七色彩虹永遠都是正 能量的象徵。2020年，香港面對著前所未有的衝擊，在這個每日來去匆匆、壓力「爆簥」、前景未明的大都市， 你我或許會遇上不少挫折。請相信彩虹，因為風雨過後必有天晴。 此曲原本是為香港兒童合唱團初級組合唱團創作，旋律簡單直接，屬同聲齊唱作品。但彷彿有把聲音、有份感動 要我將這首歌加上和聲，好使歌曲聽起來更加溫暖，提升合唱的感覺－－同聲三部 SSA的版本就是這樣誕生。 2021年為龍翔官立中學及鍾梓萍老師改編成SA版本，而混聲四部版本則於2022年為中大合唱團改編。 《信任彩虹》沒什麼大智慧、大學問，但每次唱起都有令我想哭的感覺。 譚天樂（作曲、作詞） 畢業於倫敦皇家音樂學院之歌劇課程及香港演藝學院，身兼歌唱家、指揮及作曲家。譚氏曾在世界各地不少舞台 製作中擔任要角，演出超過三十個歌劇角色 。2015年，譚氏在「譜Teen同唱 - 萬人音樂會」中擔任合唱總 監，由近萬位青年參與合唱貝多芬《第九交響曲》之《歡樂頌》打破健力士世界紀錄。2016年被委任為「香港 國際無伴奏合唱節」的藝術總監。譚氏還積極參與本地流行音樂的編曲、作曲、現場演奏及和音工作，包括為香 港管弦樂團及香港小交響樂團擔任管弦樂編曲。譚氏獲英國皇家音樂學院頒發 ARAM 榮銜，以表揚他在音樂領 域上的貢獻。2018年獲香港音樂及舞蹈聯會頒發「傑出音樂家大獎」。2023年更被香港理工大學委任為駐校 藝術家(2023-24)。譚天樂現任香港歌劇院合唱團總監、艾莉亞音樂學院院長、香港演藝學院及香港理工大學的 合唱團指揮，亦為香港電台第四台《歌劇世界》節目主持。 在創作方面，中大合唱團及香港兒童合唱團先後出版《譚天樂作品集》及《譚天樂童聲合唱作品集》，收錄了大 部份譚氏的合唱作品。2021年，香港兒童合唱團舉辦了一連兩場的「譚天樂合唱作品專場」，廣受好評。 *樂曲介紹可在音樂會簡介及場刊上自由轉載。 *此曲另有齊唱及SSA版本，收錄於香港兒童合唱團出版之《譚天樂童聲合唱作品集》（SB041-01）。 *此曲另有SATB版本（CUCCS0038）。 *此曲需以ꖋ語演唱。本樂譜之ꖋ語注音採用香港語言學會ꖋ語拼音方案（ꖋ拼），相關指引請參考網頁 https:// www.lshk.org/jyutping 參考錄影 Sample Video
Programme Note Have you ever seen a rainbow? The rainbow has different symbols and meanings from various myths and religions. For example, the rainbow marks God’s covenant to Noah and his descendants, it also embodies hope, eternity, and peace. The end of the rainbow could also direct us to find hidden treasure. Nevertheless, the rainbow always carries positive energy. In 2020, Hong Kong faced unprecedented challenges, everyday went by in a hurry, the pressure reached a boiling point, and the city was filled with uncertainty for the future, everyone encountered countless setbacks. In such difficult times, please trust the rainbow, because after the storms, the skies will clear. This piece was originally written for the Hong Kong Children’s Choir Junior group. The melody is simple and straightforward. Soon after completing the unison version, there was an inner drive that guided me to enrich the harmony and make it more bright — thus the SSA version was made. This two-part version was arranged in 2021 for Lung Cheung Government Secondary School and Ms Alice Chung. A four-part version was arranged in 2022 specially for the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus. Trusting the Rainbow does not carry any profound wisdom, but I am deeply touched whenever the piece is sung. Alex Tam (composer, lyricist) Graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London and The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), Alex Tam is an opera singer, conductor and composer, having performed leading roles in stage productions worldwide, including over 30 operatic roles. Alex was the Chorus Master of the Guinness World Record-breaking event, ODE TO JOY - Concert of Ten Thousand in 2015, and was appointed Artistic Director of the Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival in 2016. Alex is also active in the pop music field, composing and arranging for pop artists, including orchestral arrangements for The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Hong Kong Sinfonietta. In recognition of his significant contributions to the music profession, Alex received the ARAM award from the Royal Academy of Music, and the Outstanding Musician Award from the Hong Kong Music and Dance Association in 2017 and 2018 respectively. In 2023, Alex was appointed Artist in Residence (2023-24) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Alex is currently Chorus Director of Opera Hong Kong, founder of Aria Academy of Music, as well as choir conductor of PolyU and HKAPA. Alex is also a radio presenter on RTHK Radio 4. As a composer, Alex's compositions have been featured in the Alex Tam Collection published by CU Chorus as well as the Alex Tam Choral Collections for Treble Voices published by The Hong Kong Children's Choir.
