About us

Adezgo Limited is a company incorporated in the
Federal Republic of Nigeria that provides advisory
services to a diversified client base, which includes
corporations, government agencies, government
institutions and financial institutions in the Sub-
Saharan African region and Nigeria in particular
with regards to building infrastructure and where
desirable, build, manage and secure social and
commercial infrastructure.

Privatisation of PHCN Successor Companies

Adezgo was the lead consultant to a subsidiary of Forte Oil Plc
(Amperion Power Distribution Company Limited), the Preferred
Bidder and new owner of 414MW Geregu Power Plc.
Assisted Amperion with the following:

Pre-Bid activities

Creation of the SPV (Amperion Power),
Creation of a strong and credible Consortium
Sourcing of Credible Technical Partners in this case the biggest
Power company in the world State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC)
Identification and sourcing of transaction advisers
(legal, technical and financial)
Negotiation of Industry and Transaction Agreements.
Bid Process Management (Preparation and Submission)
Administration of the SPV.

Post Bid activities

Liaison with BPE, NERC, TCN, NBET, GACN, NELMCO,
NGC Ministry of Power and other Government Agencies
Negotiated the US$132 million acquisition facility agreement
Assisted in the transitioning of power plant employees from
public to private sector.
Facilitated shadow management exercise and physical handover processes
Advised the acquired entity (Geregu Power Plc) on all matters during
the interim period ordered by NERC.
Negotiated the US$94 million Major Overhaul agreements for
Geregu Power Plc and the OEM.
Adezgo in partnership with Bengbu Solar of China participated in the
DFID sponsored first phase of the Lagos State Solar Project to power
172 Public Schools and 20 Health Care Centres.
Undertook Valuation of Island Power Assets during disposal by Marine Power
in Marina, Lagos State
Adezgo developed a Master Plan including the site plan for a South South
State Government’s proposed Power Hub Project.
Consulting for a proposed “evacuation of 50MW-150MW Stranded Power
via independent Transmission line to Eligible Customer Project”.
Co developer of a proposed 450MW Gas Power Project in Kogi State.
Developing a 10MW Embedded Power Project in Lagos State.
