GMC RETREAT 2017

GMC Retreat is a must attend event for
GMC members. The intimate event was
held at Damai Laut for 3 days from 5th
January 2017 until 7th January 2017
(Thursday to Saturday).
The objective of the event was to deepen
relationships outside their typical hectic
schedules, as well as to share lessons
learned. Attendees attain new
information, leadership skills and
business development ideas to help
manage and grow their association.

COMMUNICATION DAY 1/17

The Profess Communication Day is a bi-annual event held in the
middle, and the end/beginning of every calendar year. The
objectives of the Communication Day are as mentioned below:

Profess Consulting Group and its SCEs, namely Irshad
HR Consulting Sdn Bhd, Sageconsulting Sdn Bhd,
Multimedia Consulting Sdn Bhd and Global Performance
Technical Consulting Sdn Bhd.
to present an opportunity for Management, consultants
and staff to get to meet up with each other and refresh
everyone on what has been going on, at the corporate
and personal level. This is very critical for Profess Group
since there are numerous occasions whereby a project
has been undertaken jointly by consultants and staff
hand-picked from each SCE, in order to get the right blend
of competencies required for the project delivery.

On Friday 20th January 2017, the first Profess Group Communication Day for 2017 session was held at the
PKNS Bizpoint, Shah Alam. The event started at 5.00 pm with arrival of staff and subsequently at 5.15 pm
after performing congregational Asar Prayer, the Group Communication Day 1/2017 continued with
welcoming speech from Hj Nahar Md Noor, our Head Group Corporate Service. His speech highlighted the
welcoming of New Company, “GlobalTalentLink Executive Search and welcoming of 21 new staff from all
SCEs.

The program continues with the next agenda which was a game hosted by Mr. Jaslizan Jaafar from Irshad
HR Consulting Sdn Bhd. The objective of the game was to developed teamwork among the staff. The game
brought positive impact since the objective to brought closer bonding between employee from various SCEs
was achieved successfully.

The event proceed with the speech from our Group CEO, Tn Hj Mohd Adam Mohd Said. In his speech, Tn Hj
Mohd Adam hope that eventhough the year 2017 ahead will bring its own challenges but by working
together, keeping focused on our priorities and core values altogether, we can realise our vision and mission.
Besides, he encouraged all of the staff to use their time wisely and move forward as decisively and swiftly as
they can while trying to evaluate not only what is best for our part of the business, but also the potential
impact on other parts and on the Group as a whole.The speech ended at 7.00 pm with a dinner party for all
staff and continued with Maghrib Congregational Prayer. The event was indeed successful with the
attendance of 94 out of 114 staff ( 82%)

FLASHBACK 2016

It was a gloomy year for Profess Group since we lost a great amount of our
precious staff that have contributed a lot towards the company. They carry
tremendous experience on what has worked and what hasn’t worked for the
company in the past. Great employees are irreplaceable. It isn’t the technology or
the product that make a company great, it’s the people. They hold client
relationships that have been built over many years. And great employees have
camaraderie and influence with their coworkers, which when lost, has an impact
on the corporate culture.

On behalf of the Company, we would like to express our appreciation for
the contribution they has made. Their integrity, honesty and dedication to their
work will be difficult for us to replace. They will be greatly missed. Al Fatihah
