Bailey And his
Special Tennis Ball

Once upon a time
there was a dog named
Bailey. Bailey was the
family dog, a happy dog.
Bailey would play in the
backyard for hours and he
also loved to play with is
owners, but his favorite
thing to do is to play fetch.

Bailey had a special tennis
ball. The ball was pink and
yellow and was very
bouncy. It was his favorite,
he wouldn’t play fetch with
any other ball. But one day
his ball disappeared, it was
no where. He had lost his
ball.

Bailey looked for, he
looked everywhere,
in his dog house in
his water and food
bowl and even in his
neighbor's yard. He
couldn’t find it.

Whenever his owners
would come out to play,
Bailey would just sit and
watch. He wouldn’t
chase them like he used
to. He was sad, Bailey
missed his ball. He
searched for it everyday.
Until one day…

It was a normal day.
Bailey woke up, he ate and
then started looking for
his ball. He looked in his
house, in the food, in his
water but their was one
new place he looked. In
the hole.

Inside that hole was
something round, yellow
and green, and it was
special. Can you guess
what it was? If you guessed
his tennis ball you were
right. He grabbed it with
his mouth, he was so
happy to find it.

He ran to his owner's back
door and started barking. The
kids ran over to the door and
saw Bailey with the ball in his
mouth. They were so excited.
They ran outside and started to
play with Bailey. They played
and played and played. In the
end Bailey and his ball lived
happily ever after.
