Monarch Imperial is a luxury dining and convention center located
in the capital city of Sri Lanka offering true Sri Lankan hospitality
coupled with international standards in cuisine and service.

This well-appointed property includes 7 specialty restaurants
inclusive of a western pub, the finest patisserie and Sri Lanka’s
largest elegant pillarless ballroom. The Imperial has stunning views
of a private lake and 20 luxury guest rooms with ample parking.
Thirty four (34) private dining rooms are conveniently located
around the 7 specialty restaurants to offer greater privacy to
celebrate special moments and to entertain corporate clients.

The large lawn bordering the private lake is an ideal setting for

The Largest pillarless ballroom in Sri Lanka offers a seating capacity of
3500 guests for a standing reception, 3000 theater-style, or
accommodate 180 tables. The exquisite high ceiling (20ft), exclusive 2
pre-function areas, and largest ceremonial stairs elicit luxurious
splendour which sets the right tone for your special day.

Outdoor functions

Our magnificent lawn with a picturesque lakeside view
accommodating up to 700 guests is the perfect outdoor location to
host your celebrations or corporate events. The stunning lake
provides the perfect backdrop and ideal setting making it magical.

VIP holding room

Monarch Imperial’s stylish VIP holding rooms offer a private space to
our VIP guests. This exclusive space is cladded in class radiating
modern elegance and splendour with a wooden interior, plush carpet,
and luxurious sofas. The two VIP holding rooms are located on either
side of our grand ballroom and are designed to relax in comfort while
waiting to be ushered to the ballroom and other function rooms.

The VIP lounge room is accompanied by a private bathroom and
guarantees minimum external disturbances during the stay.
