01 The 3 Main Problems A brief introduction into how plastic waste is affecting our world -contributes to waste and pollution issues -impacts our health negatively -threatening wildlife, environment, and is killing our planet
UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM POLLUTION Plastic sticks around earth for ages. It can take up to 450 years for it to break down. Plastic actually doesn’t decompose. Instead they photo-degrade and become microplastics that continue to absorb toxins and pollute earth. HEALTH Plastic ends up in the air, ground, and the sea. The toxins that plastic absorbs follows it and can causes toxic substances that can cause health impacts such as cancer and impairment to the immune system. Scientist also found microplastics in human foods and consuming them can cause health impacts too. PLANET Because plastic takes ages to degrade, it just sits arounds and ends up in our environment. Wildlife eventually have access to plastic and thousands of animals especially marine animals die after ingesting plastic or get tangled to death. Some species are starting to become endangered because of it.
100 million 100,000,000 Scientist estimate that there around 100 million marine animals die from plastic pollution, and the number might even be higher. That’s 25 times the population of Los Angeles.
OUR GOALS CLEANUPS We are hosting clean ups at beaches, neighborhoods, parks, etc. once or twice a month to clean up our environment. REDUCE We want to try and reduce the amount of plastic we use in everyday life. This will help our environment in the long run. SPREAD We want to inform as many as people as we cna 02
03 OUR EXPERIENCES -March 5th Beach Cleanup -Lasted about 2 hours -Found lots of plastic and other objects -Team effort

SUMMARY Plastic is producing lot of waste and pollution that is harming our health, environment, and wildlife HARMS By doing cleanups, we can help reduce the amount of plastic where they don’t belong. We can also recycle or swap to reusable items to reduce the amount of plastic being produced. SOLUTIONS Wildlife especially marine animals number of deaths would be decreased and endangered animals won’t become extinct. We also won’t be as exposed to toxins that cause health impacts. IMPACTS

LITTLE PARROT FARM EDUCATION 5/6/2023
ABOUT US To build a regenerative educational farm that demonstrates respect and care for land and living beings and to experience a world where man and nature can prosper and live harmoniously together. To farm using regenerative practices while producing quality and nutritious crops and products, and to educate and unite the community behind the cause to achieve regeneration, harmony with nature, and to have compassion for all living beings. 94 VISION MISSION

20XX PITCH DECK 96 Regenerate Earth Through Hands On Education
GOALS & ASPIRATIONS FOR STUDENTS ● By making students aware of the health, environmental and social issues within the food system, we hope the students will have a transformative experience with the impact of food and farming on health and Earth, and be inspired to become leaders to engage peers and the community to make positive changes. ● LPF hopes to provide a platform/space/resource for student's growth, expand skill set and build community connection. 97
