2.Synopsis

“Django Unchained” is a rip-roaring revenge
actioner set in the American South just two years
before the Civil War. It follows Django, a slave
freed and trained as a bounty hunter by
sophisticated German-born Dr. King Schultz, who
is appalled by the racist ways of the antebellum
South. Django teams up with Schultz to bring him
the bounty of the murderous Brittle brothers, in
exchange for Schultz’ help finding and rescuing
his wife, Broomhilda, who is still a slave. They find
her in the hands of the vicious Calvin Candie, the
Mississippi plantation owner of the infamous
Candyland, who also runs the Cleopatra Club that
features sexually abused female slaves and
mandingos forced to fight in death matches.

tale of vengeful ex-slave, what
happened in Russia is happening here.
The theme of revenge permeates
Tarantino's work. If the violence in his
