 Rules and Regulations: Runners try to make it from one side of the gym to the
other, without being hit by a ball that is thrown by one of two throwers who are
on the sides. If a player is hit by the ball, he must sit down and can tag runners as
they run across the gym. The objective is to get from one side of the gym to the
other without getting tagged. No one is allowed to throw the ball except for the
throwers. Throwers can be rotated per round.

Spill the Tea  Warm up: Jumping jacks, toe touches, arm circles, and back
stretches.

 Rules and Regulations: Two teams, on opposite sides of the gym,
throw and roll balls back and forth to hit or knock down cones on
the opposite side. The person must be in a squat or lunge position
to do this. The goal is to knock down all the cones on the other
side of the court. Must stay on the line to throw balls. There should
be different color cones to indicate which teams is throwing at
what cones.

 Key Skills: Teamwork and strategizing.

 Fitness Component: Pushing and lower body workouts.

 Space and Time: Full gym.

 Equipment Needed: Balls and cones.

Last Man Standing

 Warm up: Jumping jacks, toe touches, arm circles, and back stretches.

 Rules and Regulations: Two players throw balls from an “section” in the center of the gym. If
a player is hit, they must become a “thrower” and try to create more “throwers”. The
objective of the game is to not be hit with the ball. Runners can only run in designated areas
(hulas hoops). “Throwers” can only move around by jumping on one foot. If a thrower is
running and not jumping on one foot they will be switched out for a new thrower.

 Key Skills: Strategizing.

 Fitness Component: Cardio (running) and balance.

 Space and Time: Full gym.

 Equipment Needed: Balls.

 Rules and Regulations: The whole group holds hands and tries to pass
a hula-hoop by stepping through it and “passing” it to the person
next to them. The objective is to get the hula-hoop completely
around the circle without breaking hands. Once complete with the
first circle walk more hula hoops will be added. No two hula hoops
should be on one person.

 Key Skills: Planning, teamwork and outside of the box thinking.

 Fitness Component: Aerobics.

 Space and Time: Half gym.

 Equipment Needed: Hula hoops.
