DRUNK DRIVER ALCOHOL DETECTION FOR ROAD SAFETY
Muhammad Syahmi Bin Rosman, Muhammad Rizki Bin Mahfut &

Ts. Mohd At-Tarmizi Bin Abu Hassan

The Breathalyzer Car Starter was created to deal with the problem of drunk drivers on the road. The
MQ-3 Alcohol sensor on this device is to detect the presence of alcohol produced by the driver. The
objective of this device is to detect the alcohol on a driver's breath and prevent drivers from driving
while drunk. This device has a relay that will be connected after the ignition key to controlling the
engine from being turned on if the driver does not do a breath test or the driver is drunk. The driver
must perform a breath test repeatedly within a set period. This ensures that the driver does not drink
alcoholic beverages and drives while drunk after taking the first breath test. To further improve the
quality and accuracy of this device in testing the alcohol content in the driver's breath, it is suggested
to study the BAC formula in ug/mL and use actual alcoholic beverages. The excellent response from
53 of the respondents agrees that a driver alcohol detection device that can prevent drivers from
drunk driving, like Breathalyzer Car Starter, is developed and marketed with the purpose of road safe-
ty and preventing cases of drunk drivers.

Technology has become an essential part of our lives. Tremendous advancement in technology
has succeeded in the last few years. In recent years, people are looking forward to an innovation in
their daily life, and even now people are excited to see an innovation system. Fingerprint Attend-
ance System is and innovation project to design and develop students attendance report at Pusat
Islam Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah. There are some students who never come to Pusat Islam but sign
attendance by proxy. Besides, there are also students that scan matrices cards on behalf of their
friends. To overcome this problem fingerprint recognition is useful because this system uses finger
scan methods that only scan for the owner of the attend. There are also students that attend to the
Pusat Islam but forget to bring matrices card. In this context, they maybe can sign their attendance
manually but by using fingerprint recognition is more efficient. The objective of this project is to
design & develop attendance fingerprint system at Pusat Islam Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah.
Besides, to generate accurate student attendance reports for the college management. The soft-
ware that is used to develop this project are Arduino IDE and Arduino Uno. The reason for using
Arduino IDE is due to its large number of built in functions in implementation of algorithms and
data structures. In addition, Arduino IDE is easy to interface with Arduino Uno as it allows input
data transmission. Both software & hardware are combined to run a simulation to show detection
and recognition of the fingerprint. In conclusion, this project brings benefits to the student & col-
lege management. It is very efficient and useful in taking student attendance.

DEVELOPMENT OF A SINGLE TRACKING SOLAR SETUP SYSTEM
Syed Farid Bin Sayed Kamarul Bahrin,, Mohammad Krizuan Bin Winnie Pedroso @ Wayne &

Nur Aliya Binti Jamal

A solar tracker is a broad name for devices that direct solar panels toward the sun. Trackers are used
in flat-panel photovoltaic applications to reduce the angle of incidence between incoming light and a
photovoltaic panel. This increases the quantity of energy generated. This project presents a Develop-
ment of a Single-Axis Solar Tracker Setup System . Solar panels are only utilised in permanent loca-
tions, which is one of the early challenges with solar systems. Because of this problem, the quantity
of power that can be generated is restricted. The cost of an outdated solar system is thus prohibitively
high for those who utilise more electricity than is typical. Subsequently, it will be more expensive for
consumers to purchase more panels in order to have sufficient power. Hence, the objective is to de-
velop a single axis solar tracker system utilising the Arduino UNO. Aside from that, it is to characterise
the effectiveness of a solar tracker based on the intensity of the light. It is also to evaluate the devel-
oped system's performance based on field data measurement. The goal of this Single Axis Solar Track-
er Setup is to optimise photovoltaic panel power output. The hardware designs consist of a solar pan-
el, a photodiode sensor (LDR) as an input to move the servo motor, a voltage sensor for the voltage
output, and a 3.7V battery charged by a TP4056 to operate as a battery reserve. The analytical results
of this project are a comparison of a solar setup system with a tracker with a system without a tracker.
For the final result, the solar system setup with a tracker produces a significantly greater voltage read-
ing output throughout the day. To conclude, this project has proven to be more efficient and effec-
tive than the conventional and outdated solar setup system.

DEVELOPMENT OF CONTROLLED HOME AUTOMATION
Nuraisyah Auni Binti Mustapha, Nurul Hanis Binti Mohamad Rizal &

Nur Aliya Binti Jamal

One of the innovations in the Industry 4.0 trend, which is changing the way we live, work and com-
municate in everyday life, is home automation. This is due to the ability of hardware networks to con-
nect over the Internet. Therefore, devices at home can be managed wirelessly with just a smartphone
or tablet. This project is cheaper than existing projects in the market. It was created in response to
several reasons, including forgetful human behavior. They occasionally forget to turn off their devices
at home due to their hectic daily schedule. Additionally, it takes time for the user to repeatedly move
back and forth to check the switch's status. The cost of paying for power and garbage will also go up.
Therefore, the project created aims to design a switch control circuit, develop a switch control system
that can be controlled using a phone by Blynk apps and integrate the application that has been de-
veloped. The project's effectiveness has been evaluated. It just takes 0.3 seconds longer to switch the
gadget on automatically than it does manually. Thus, the project that has been designed successfully
resolves the issue that is currently present.

A wildlife fire, forest fire, building fire, rural fire is an unplanned, uncontrolled, and unpredictable fire
in an area of combustible vegetation starting in rural and urban areas. Fire can cause immense dam-
age and loses, including home loss, school, office building and even death. There are a lot of factors
contribute to the fire such as human mistake and gas leakage. The inability to notice early signs of fire
causes the fire burning. The goal of this project is to design an IoT based Gas Leakage with Fire De-
tection System. This project designed with the capability to detect the gas and fire present, and then
able to send a notification to monitor the building and send an alert if gas or fire is present. The notifi-
cation received by Telegram. The main components used in this project are ESP32 Module, LM35
Temperature Sensor, MQ-2 Gas Detector Sensor and Piezo Buzzer. Based on the analysis, the MQ2
Gas Sensor was tested with LPG gas with different distance. At 1 metre, the system successfully detect
the gas. At 3 metre, the system took some time to detect the gas. As analysed, the system work effec-
tively at range 1 .0 - 2.5metre. Hopefully, this project will contribute to reduce house fires and more
lives will be saved.

SMART ATTENDANCE FACE ID
Muhammad Irfan Danial Bin Mohd Nadzir, Ahmad Bukhari Bin Ahmad Hasrin &

Ahmad Fuad Bin Ellias

Student attendance recording improves the educational system today. Traditional attendance is time-
consuming for lectures. Thus, an ESP32 camera-based biometric Face detection attendance recording
system is needed. In our proposed article, the ESP32 Camera captures photos and Python processes
them and records attendance. FTDI Module programmes ESP32 Camera Module. Arduino IDE for
ESP32 Camera Module. Open CV, an open-source image processing library, is used to access the ES-
P32 camera. Visual Studio (desktop development using C++) is required to download the python dlib
module. Object Detection uses Haar feature-based cascade classifiers. A cascade function is learned
from positive and negative images to detect things. Under regulated conditions, the proposed attend-
ance method is more precise and effective. The suggested attendance system depends on student
photos, camera resolution, and student capacity.

WATER MONITORING IRRIGATION SOLAR SYSTEM
Adam Bin Kitli, Muhammad Ariff Bin Jabbar & Rozilaili Binti Mustapa

This paper investigates about agriculture irrigation which is one of the main causes of economic
decline. Electricity, water, and labor consumption are the points that causing the problems. The
construction of the IOT WATER IRRIGATION SOLAR SYSTEM is intended to help the agricultural
sector development without having a negative impact on the environment. Based on the global
evolution of agriculture byproduct, the pollution that is caused from land extensive exploration
alone has caused many harms to environment. So, from the research shown, water consumption
in Malaysia in 2015 was as much as 209 liters per day has increased by 220 liters of water per day
in 2018. The National Water Services Commission has targeted the consumption of 180 liters per
day for each population in 2020. In addition to that, the reduction of the labor force in Malaysia in
2022 has recorded a loss of RM22 billion. Besides, it is absolute that the usage of renewable energy
such as solar power will save non-renewable energy sources such as natural gas, petroleum, nucle-
ar power, and charcoal. Studies on soil moisture is suitable for determining the amount of water
the soil needed. The amount of electricity used to empower the movement of the products and the
amount of labor required to maintain one crop is insipid compared to when it is done manually.
They have all been tested and proved at the Sultan Idris Shah Polytechnic's Green Point. The pro-
duction of water tank is designed with the concept of water pressure, in which we use to push the
water to flow through the piping system. The components setup which are focused on moisture
detectors, temperature and humidity sensor, solar panel and Blynk Application is for recoding and
monitoring the wellbeing’s of plants from a far distance. They are the main factors in this Innova-
tion.

STUDY ON DIFFERENT TYPE OF FRUIT PEELS IN REMOVAL OF HEAVY METAL IN LEACHATE
Muhammad Zakwan Bin Azhar, Siti Norsyafinah Binti Haspulah &
Wan Nurhazirah Binti Kamaruzaman

Toxicity of leachate is determined from its characteristic that has many harmful materials such as
heavy metals. Some of the heavy metals found in leachate include Chromium (Cr), Cadmium (Cd),
Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Nickel (Ni), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn) and Iron (Fe). In overcoming this prob-
lem, many methods had been investigated to remove the heavy metal in leachate efficiently such
as chemical precipitation, chemical oxidation and reduction, also membrane technologies and
evaporation. The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of fruit peels as one of
possible adsorption material in copper, iron and zinc metal removal. Fruit peels that had been cho-
sen is orange and banana by making it into an activated carbon process the leachate was taken at
sanitary landfill which is located at Sabak Bernam district. Based on the study result, the percentage
removal of orange peel with 4g dosage is the most suitable to remove copper (99.06%) and zinc
(97.53%) meanwhile orange dosage 2g (97.25%) is suitable in removing Iron in leachate. For bana-
na peels, the dosage of 1g is the most effective in removing iron, copper and zinc than 2g with the
percentage removal were 92.54%, 97.53% and 99.06%.

ECO FRIENDLY MONKEY REPELLENTS
Dharshini A/p Chandran, Muhammad Amier Irfan Bin Ramlan,

Lahvinya A/p Rajah & Nursyima Nadiah Binti Abu Bakar

Crops damage and surrounding damage of Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah is a grave concern of the
students. Commercially available monkey repellents are chemical based and disastrous to human
health. An attempt has been made to prepare three different 100% herbal product which is Chilli
Powder Rice Ball, Chilli and Pepper Spray, and Aloe Vera Spray. It is low-cost, effective and environ-
ment friendly. Each repellent will be added with coconut oil, lemongrass oil and lavender oil re-
spectively. The efficacy of prepared repellents will be compared by testing them with the monkeys
around the polytechnic for a week. The methodology used is by spraying them in any food and the
parameters were evaluated by levelling the meters where monkeys get away from the sprayed
food and each spray tested with ten monkeys. Based on the results obtained from these parame-
ters, the graph of efficiency is plotted by the data collected from the presence of monkey day by
day for one week. Also, the percentage data of how many monkeys out of ten, get away from the
sprayed food without eating them was calculated.

THE POTENTIAL OF DURIAN AND ORANGE PEEL AS COAGULANT FOR WATER TREATMENT
Rosbina Khaw Toon Khang, Phileana Zelda Leong & Siti Nurul Hana Binti Ramli

Water pollution and issues regarding water pollution have been the talk of the show since forever
but the problems seem to worsen despite the different kinds of solutions due to the never-ending
human activities. As the city water infrastructure deteriorates, reatment plants have been the main
focus for engineers to treat wastewater. With that being said, there are a lot of attempts involving
low-tech, simple solutions that use everyday materials to help ensure the community's health and
safety. However, this esearch will be highlighting the potential utilizing durian and also orange
peels as coagulants for water treatment. The objectives of this research are to investigate the effi-
ciency of orange and durian peels as coagulants, an initiative to create a more natural way to treat
water. Other than that, this research is to help compare the effectiveness between the common
coagulants used which are alum with the created natural coagulants. The source of the water sam-
ple was taken at the drainage channel from the café admin of olytechnic Sultan Idris Shah. The
results demonstrated that using orange and durian peels as a new composite coagulant in water
treatment is a viable option for improving turbidity reduction performance. Furthermore, the use of
this natural coagulant can reduce the health risks associated with long-term use of chemical coag-
ulants while also reducing the amount of chemical sludge product released into the environment.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PLANT BASED NATURAL COAGULANT TO REMOVE TURBIDITY OF
INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER

Alya Farihah Binti Mohd Zaifhwan, Nurlela Sari Binti Zulbaharim & Azzah Syahmina Binti Azman

Coagulants are mainly used in wastewater treatment for turbidity and organic matter removal.
Chemical coagulants that are used in the industrial wastewater treatment process may produce
hazardous and toxic sludge which has a negative impact on the ecosystem. To overcome this prob-
lem many studies were done to substitute chemical coagulant with natural material as coagulant
for the wastewater treatment process. This study aims to produce natural coagulants from chia
seed, cactus , banana stem and aloe vera for the treatment of plastic pallet industrial wastewater.
This study also aims to determine the effectiveness of natural coagulants based on the percentage
removal of turbidity. Many series of jar test experiments were done to indicate the most efficient
natural coagulant for removal of turbidity. Based on the result , all natural coagulant in this study
have potential to remove turbidity with different efficiency.

NOISE REDUCTION BOX (NRB) BY USING WASTE COCONUT COIR AND EGG CARTON
Muhammad Danial Adha Bin Mohamad Nor Faizal, Adilah Maizan Binti Ahmad Masrin

& Norasyikin Binti Yaakub

Sieve machine is widely use in the industrial sector. The noise from the sieve machine can be harm
noise to any people. Normal people can bear the noise up to the certain limit (80 decibels) and it
may damage the nerves directly if it exceeds that limitation. Therefore, this project is to produce a
box that can reduce the sound that are coming from the sieve machine. The main material to re-
duce the noise is coconut coir fiber and egg carton. The combination of both materials can in-
crease the efficiency of the box to reduce the noise from the sieve machine. The scope of study for
this project is the process of producing and testing at the Laboratory Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah.
The main objective of this project is to produce the Noise Reduction Box (NRB). Secondly is to de-
termine the noise levels (decibels) from the sieve machine with NRB by conducting sound test us-
ing Sound Level Meter. Thirdly, is to compare the noise levels (decibels) from the use of NRB and
without NRB. The result show that the sound coming from sieve machine is reduced by a signifi-
cant number of decibels. The average noise level when using Noise Reduction Box (NRB) is 71.17
dB. The product is produced meet the requirements of sound resistance and able to absorb the
noise generated from the sieve machine. The recommendation of this project is to build with a
lightweight material to let it easy to move thus make it easier to use.

MORTAR LEVELLER
Muhamad Firdaus Bin Anuar, Ageng Pengestu Bin Trimanto &

Tuan Noor Rafidah Binti Tuan Hassan

Innovation of Mortar Leveller is a tool that serves to level the mortar on a brick surface uniformly.
The product is suitable to be used for bricklaying work and does not emit much energy in the pro-
cess of levelling the mortar. A situation that can be seen that often occurs when working on brick-
work is the difficulty of levelling the mortar of the same thickness on the surface of the brick. The
method currently adopted is to level only with the use of trowel. It takes a time to do the work of
tying the brick as it is necessary to maintain the thickness of the mortar on each brick pile. In addi-
tion, there is also an error in the height of the brick wall created and it makes the thickness of the
mortar on each brick pile unequal. Among the main problems faced before this innovation was
introduced was the longer time required for the work of bricklaying, the result of uneven thickness
on each brick surface and the pain in the waist and hands that occurred because the user had to
bend the body to carry out the bricklaying works. The main objective of this study is to design a
tool that can speed up the process of fastening bricks compared to the existing manual method. In
addition, reducing the user's energy consumption, not using a relatively long time to level the mor-
tar and can avoid the risk of injury in order to be more secured. Apart from that, among the tests
carried out to see the effectiveness of this innovation tool are bricklaying times and wall height.
Construction workers, especially in the field of bricklaying work, have been selected to carry out
these tests. A set of questionnaires has also been given to support the findings. As a results, the
average time taken for the trowel method is 4.33 minutes. it’s to prepare four layers of bricklaying
while the time taken for each layer is 4.12, 4.45, 4.35 and 4.39 minutes. In addition, the time taken
for each layer using the mortar leveller method is 3.24, 2.22, 2.24 and 2.3 minute and the overall
average for this mortar leveller method is 2.5 minutes. Furthermore, the target for the height of
the wall is 300 meters. The wall height for each layer for the trowel method is 73, 135, 207 and
285 meters. Next, the height of the wall for each layer using mortar leveller is 75,154,230 and 300
meters. The conclusion for the end of this study is that mortar leveller can reduce waste material.
This statement can be supported by analysing the height of the wall. The target for the height of
the wall for the whole is 300 meters. The height that has been reached for the use of trowel and
mortar leveller is 285 and 300. This it is clear that the mortar leveller is more accurate to level the
mortar to each brick layer uniformly.

BRICK DESIGN STUDY INVOLVING INSTALLATION FACTORS
Iylia Insyirah Binti Mohd Khairul Rizal, Nurhuda Farhanah Binti Muhamad Fairuz &

Ahmad Zaiyad Bin Idrus

Changing the shape of the brick has made it an interesting product due to the addition of stoppers
on the sides and bottom of the brick. The size of the stoppers used is 24 mm while the length is 10
mm. With that, the change in the shape of the brick can estimate the distance of 10mm between
the bricks without measuring. The addition of this stopper also does not require new materials be-
cause the shape that will be made is based on the mold that has been designed. Therefore, the
stoppers on the bricks that have been made are to provide an accuracy of 10mm between the
bricks. In addition, the addition of stoppers can also reduce the waste of mortar because mortar
can be used carefully. The test used after this project was made was the horizontal and vertical dis-
tance of 10mm between the bricks, the time of installation and leveling. In conclusion, the results
of the investigation from this project show that this product can be used more easily and save time
during its installation. The name given is Ez-Brick very much meets the criteria that have been mod-
ified on this brick.

Safety at construction site is very important to the workers/ employees because they will be ex-
posed to variety of risk because they work with moving machineries, heavy and hazardous materi-
als, and disaster. Heat stroke is one of the problem faced by workers work at open space that ex-
posed to extreme high temperature / weather. For safety, this project is aim to innovate a body
temperature detector for worker in order to avoid risk of illness, injury or death. This product is in-
novated by using Arduino as main component. LM35 as temperature sensor is used to sense the
body temperature. While, The software of Arduino Uno is used for programming the system of
sensor temperature. This product has been tested the accuracy detection of temperature at labora-
tory with various situations and this product also tested to the worker who work at site. From the
test, it’s show that 3% of accuracy reading between normal temperature gun and body tempera-
ture device. Therefore the product is able to detect the temperature that installed on safety vest.

THE INNOVATION OF FLOOD BARRIER
Siti Nor Aizah Binti Nor Azizan, Nurul Intan Maisarah Binti Zulmadee &

Jamaliah Binti Jabar

This project and study are about the initiative that has been done because floods occur in some
areas when the flood season comes and cause water enters their homes resulting in property dam-
age. Then the initiative is to make an innovation of the flood barrier that will be installed and plant-
ed in front of the house. This is Next, why this project needs to be carried out, or done is it to up-
grade or innovate water barrier devices to facilitate and reduce the human workload to solve the
problem of flood water entering the house consciously or not Then, with flood barrier innovation,
problems like the entry of dirty floodwater into the house can be avoided and problems like prop-
erty damage can also be reduced if every house is installed with the same device. Also, the new
method that will be used to solve this problem is the installation of a flood barrier that will work
with the flood water pressure itself. This flood barrier device is seen to be on the market but the
flood barrier device sold on average needs to be installed when there is a flood the flood barrier
device that we want to create will work on its own when the water pressure enters the hole pro-
vided to raise the pressure it also does not involve electrical energy. In conclusion, this design is
very suitable in this day because there are users who cannot anticipate the event of a flood and
may not have time to prepare compared to this simple flood prevention device. The whole proto-
type design of the project is a width of 35cm, a length is 31cm, a height is 68cm then the thickness
of the barrier 2cm the width is 31cm and a height is 61cm. when the test has been done, the result
of this project is the cover of a hole flood barrier is broken because the quantity of water which is
76.16 liter cannot be accommodated which is the quantity is related to the volume. Then, the
quantity of water when the hole broke is only 47.04 liter. Finally, the improvement that needs to be
done is to improve the quality of materials which is the more qualities of the cover hole to improve
the strange and can withstand water pressure.

Based on an investigation of the DTF30143 Best Practices for Halal Food Production subject event
hosted last year, the researchers discovered that student at Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah (PSIS) are
oblivious of sertu cleansing according to Islamic perspectives. Many students are unaware of the
significance of sertu in their lives, and some have never heard of such concepts. The objective of
the study are to educate students about proper ritual cleansing according to Shariah law and to
create awareness on sertu among PSIS students. This chapter describes how the research is carried
out in term of research design, data collection method, research instrument, sampling design and
conclusion. The definition of methodology is the branch of logic that studies reasoning or is the
way something is done. An example of methodology is the way an experiment was carried outthe
majority of student who knows about sertu cleansing is malay. Exactly 50% of students comment
that this video is helping them to know more about sertu before watching the video. 28.6 percent
of students never heard about sertu cleansing. The researchers have evaluated some of the im-
portance of this study based on the studies that have been completed. In addition, in interactive
video learning, it will be able to help students to understand more about the method used in halal
industry. Due to the lack of exposure about sertu process to students, it can help students to identi-
fy the difference between the sertu process and also tannery process that has been set by JAKIM.
Aside from that, this study can be used as a reference for lecturers, consultants or trainers in their
syllabus.

The benefits of a Video-based learning strategy or video-based learning solutions are well docu-
mented and have become a common L&D practice across enterprises and industries. It is extensively
versatile and offers a viable learning solution for a variety of learning challenges at the work-
place. Moreover, mise-en-place-cutting technique makes practices explicit that may have been hid-
den or poorly understood, and helps students understand how such pre-preparation aids in prepar-
ing and maintaining a workplace. The objectives are to investigate the effectiveness of the Interac-
tive Video Learning. In this study, we have used google form to collect data about the study on the
effectiveness of interactive video learning on mise en place. There are 146 respondents who belong

The title of the study is Interactive Video learning. This descriptive study aims to examine people's
knowledge about effective ways to gain knowledge in an easy way. In addition, this study was
conducted to review the effectiveness of the "star" intervention in directly improving students'
knowledge, to identify the contents that are acceptable in Interactive Video Learning, to encour-
age student creativity in creating Interactive Video Learning and to introduce students to being
able to learn independently. Malaysia is listed among the countries that record food waste rates. In
the subject of food technology in the food packaging section, vacuum packaging is one of the ef-
fective ways that make it easy for people to do it either directly (manually) or machine
(automatically). The reflection of the study shows that the problem of food waste that is wide-
spread in our country Malaysia is caused by references that do not help to attract students' interest
to know it. Interactive video learning that is produced and used can help students or others over-
come the problems they face, which is knowledge about vacuum packs. after referring to the inter-
active video learning: vacuum packed the researcher found that students can learn various meth-
ods in the vacuum pack in the right way compared to before the interactive video learning was
displayed.

Interactive video learning comprises videos that foster interaction with the learners and combines
passive and active elements. The use of e-learning in the world of education is said to be one of the
ways to facilitate learning and teaching activities in the classroom that do not directly involve discus-
sions between students and instructors. Furthermore, a lack of good reading habits is an issue that
most students face and it contributes to their bad performance on tests and exams. In hands-on clas-
ses, the student must establish a strong concentration and study routine to perform well. Thus, this
study aims to emphasize hands-on topics using interactive video learning (IVL) as one of the teaching
tools that can help students to perform well in class. The concept of e-learning is introduced so that
educators can attract students' interest and transform traditional teaching into technology-based
teaching. The major goal of this study is to provide an interactive video tutorial on the five mother
sauces and to assist halal food service majors in making five mother sauces in the simplest way possi-
ble for them to comprehend through an interactive video. Additionally, interactive videos support
strong student engagement. The learner actively participates in the learning process while watching
the video, ensuring that it is not just a one-way conversation. If the video encourages audience en-
gagement with the content, even the most uninteresting subject can be interesting.

Malaysian has low awareness of halal slaughtering and compliance with halal standards, say re-
searchers. Because of that, we have created a virtual learning video for students to learn how to
slaughter animals according to Malaysian standards. Studied say the right slaughtering method can
improve the quality of meat produced. In our view as researchers, with this interactive slaughtering
video learning, the Muslim community in particular can learn how to slaughter animals according to
the standards issued by JAKIM. Not only that, the right slaughtering method can open the eyes of
foreign countries to follow the Malaysian way. E-learning systems with interactive videos allow for
proactive and irregular access to video content. The study aims to increase students' understanding
of halal slaughtering and halal standards. Instrument In our questionnaire set are 20 questions in to-
tal for three different parts. Part 1 is about demographics which includes gender, name or cost of the
program, department, race, and religion. Part 2 is to indicate the knowledge improvement of Poly-
technic Sultan Idris Shah students through interactive video learning. Finally, the third part is to meas-
ure the progress of awareness of proper slaughtering based on Islamic perspectives among Diploma

Undoubtedly, music videos in the tourism industry which feature the element of attractions can draw
viewers in and encourage them to visit the promoted destination. The outdated approach of using
pamphlets or posters to advertise tourism items has been replaced with music videos, which are more
relevant for travellers to quickly and efficiently discover about it. These factors contributed to the de-
sign of SABER, which we used to promote the unique tourist destinations in the Sabak Bernam dis-
trict. The objective of this innovation is to discover more about Sabak Bernam's tourist spots and to
produce a music video clip as a promotional tool for Majlis Daerah Sabak Bernam. For a duration of
03:58, SABER adapted the song of Teman by Iman Troye but the lyrics were composed by us accord-
ingly and suitable to watch for all audiences. As an interpretive promotional tool, this tourism video
clip can assist not only the MDSB in advertising Sabak Bernam but also other organization like Tour-

The purpose of this project is to create music video clips to appeal to each selected tourist destination.
This music video clip is created to expand the promotions of the tourism industry in Sabak Bernam.
The title of this music video clip project is “Sabak Bernam Memanggil”. With great tourism potential
products in Sabak Bernam, less promotion from the authority through social media is a loss to the
places of attractions. It is not a common choice among tourists to visit Sabak Bernam because there is
not enough information about the places here. Although the authorities plan and manage tourist
spots in Sabak Bernam, it seems that they do not have a specific theme in promoting Sabak Bernam
to the public. This is a bit of a disadvantage as the people who come here have mostly created an
unforgettable experience by themselves. For example, contents in social media such as Instagram,
Facebook, YouTube or Tik Tok are not very active and the number of followers on those social media
is also not so influential. As a powerful distribution channel in the tourism industry, many users will
not have enough exposure about Sabak Bernam and most of them have never encountered Sabak
Bernam while browsing the media. Therefore, this project plans to make music video clips as a medi-
um to approach tourists to come explore Sabak Bernam. The lyrics and the song also play an im-
portant role so that the listener always sings the song so as not to be able to forget it. The lyrics con-
tain important verses about Sabak Bernam to make the listener understand and feel the excitement of
attractions highlighted in the songs. Interesting videos also make it easier for tourists to see beautiful
pictures and attract interest to come to Sabak Bernam. The music video clip method used is very suita-
ble to be used nowadays to promote tourism in Malaysia. The audience will get to know more in de-
tail about the customs, traditions and culture found in Sabak Bernam. This can make the audience
easily attracted to come and travel and make them feel very proud of the special features in Sabak
Bernam. In conclusion, this music video clip can attract more tourists to travel in Sabak Bernam.
Through the songs and videos shown, this can describe the interesting places in Sabak Bernam. This
Music Video Clip can also make people more familiar and appreciate the results of music video clips
related to tourism.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 'Deaf' people mostly have profound hearing
loss, which implies very little or no hearing. They often use sign language for communication.
There is currently no cure for sensorineural hearing loss, and the best treatment option is to im-
prove the hearing by wearing hearing aids. At this time, mainly children who are after ear surgery
will want to test their hearing senses. They would need assistance from their parents or sources on
the internet such as YouTube to experience sounds. Other than that, children are unable to identi-
fy sounds that come out from an object, for example, nature, instruments, vehicles, and animals.
Furthermore, children also spend most of their time on gadgets with unproductive activities before
they enter school. Therefore, Soundify is a mobile application that will solve user’s problems, as it
will be a helping hand in assisting them. The features that the app provides will be helpful and
beneficial for children where it is able to generate sound by tapping on the buttons of objects from
each category, such as nature, instruments, vehicles, and animals. Next, the app displays images
and descriptions for each object, such as those from vehicles, the natural environment, and the
musical instruments category. Finally, children’s will be able to learn the sounds of animals, vehi-

rectly, the door will open but if the password is entered incorrectly, the buzzer will sound and the
red light will light up. In addition, the server room security system uses an IR sensor module to de-
tect any movement. If there is movement in the server room, the admin will receive a notification
by phone with the addition of esp32 camera technology, only the admin can monitor the security
of the server room remotely and it is able to capture images of the area. This system is also de-
signed by applying notifications from the blynk application. Besides that, this server room security
system is an important role in maintaining the security of an asset and the company's capacity in
the server room for long-term care for the company that contains the company's applications and
databases. The rapidly developing technology has made this system a system that has high applica-
bility. To conclude with, this project still has shortcomings and weaknesses that can still be im-
proved and has the potential to develop in line with the objectives of this security system. Overall,
this project can be implemented successfully to produce a server room security system.

BUS SYSTEM ALERT
Nurul Syafina Binti Jamal, Nurul Nabihah Binti Idris, Izzah Atikah Munirah Binti Izaudin

& Syahman Bin Mohamed Yusoff

This project is to provide information to the student PSIS about estimation arrival time shuttle bus
from PSIS. The process for this project starts with the RFID reader. Each bus will have one card. Eve-
ry time the bus arrives, the bus that has an RFID card will detect by the RFID reader. Each card has
a specific ID. The ID will be sent on the Arduino UNO. After scanning the rfid card at the rfid read-
er, the lcd will display the estimated bus arrival time at the bus stand. In addition, when the bus
releases the IR sensor at the bus stand, the LCD will display "Bus arrives". Furthermore, when the
bus approaches the reader, the bus ID data will be sent to the bus stand, and the LCD on the bus
stand will show the bus estimate real time. The bus alert system is developed as a better methodol-
ogy for passenger especially student. In summary, this task has made a Polytechnic bus protection
device that has comprehensive protection to the commute. The device has real time following, de-
lays, and scholar absence. The later development and the accuracy of the project depends on the
development in both hardware and software. In this project we try to save the time of the students
mainly who uses the college transportation service and we also tend to help them with easy and
tension mornings for a bright and peaceful day. We also intend to develop this project for Poly-
technic transportation services soon.

RFID - PSIS LIBRARY LOCKER LOCK SYSTEM
Masturina Husna Binti Mustafa, Nur Nilam Sari Binti Hasan Basri, Irnieda Farisya Binti Md Razali

& Nur Farahida Binti Tahrir

RFID card is a technology that uses radio frequency that has a unique code on each card. Because
each card has a unique code that no other card has, this RFID can be used as a person's identity.
The use of RFID can be used as a key, which is deep in addition to opening the locker, can also pro-
vide information about who accesses the locker. The use of RFID can reduce direct contact where
before this, the user must hold the same key to open the locker for conventional lockers. The board
will also be connected to the mobile phone network so that all access can be managed using a
GSM application. In addition, the entire circuit will start to live when the power supply is turned on.
The Status of LED on the GSM module is then closely observed. If the Status LED is flashing fast, this
indicates that the SIM card cannot be connected to the GSM network. This will cause the GSM
module fails to send SMS. Among the solutions that can be done for this problem is to remove the
SIM card, rub the gold part of the SIM card and put the SIM card back in place. If the Status LED
blinks like a heart beat blink, this indicates that the SIM card has been successfully connected to the
GSM network to enable the GSM module to send messages. The system can also find out who
wants to break into or access the locker without any registration and can disable cards that have
been lost or do not want to be used again with the GSM application. In addition, the owner can
easily register the RFID card or remove any card registered to the system through the GSM applica-
tion only. In such a way, it will definitely increase the level of security.

yang telah disebarluas kepada mereka. Objektif yang terakhir pula telah difokuskan dalam elemen
asimilasi iaitu pengkolaborasian strategik perniagaan usahawan bersama usahawan-usahawan
