Florence was once a Roman city and after then it is developed into a thriving
medieval commune. Florence has a population of 383,000 and a wider
metropolitan population of 1.5 million. And tourism plays undoubtedly a major

each year. A portion of the famous places to visit in Florence is also known as the
best vacation destinations in Italy, including a famous accumulation of tourist
spots, historical centers, chapels, and castles. It doesn’t make a difference in the

culture and history and want to see fantastic buildings such as the Duomo,

1. Palazzo Vecchio: The Palazzo Vecchio is the most importance administrative

building in Florence. This wonderful square is located between the Piazza del
Duomo and the Arno River. Palazzo Vecchio is the most characteristic building

of the square, in its entrance we can appreciate the sculptures of Adam and
Eve, the copy of Michelangelo's David and Hercules and Cacus.

This is well known for its curves and the gem retailers that flank it on the two
sides.

2. The Duomo : Duomo is simply known in Florence as the jewel of the city and

it is one the most beautiful Places in Florence .It was initially constructed in
1436, but the astonishing front facade wasn’t completed until the 19th
century. It is located in the centre of the old city, the Duomo stands out for
miles and creates an imposing sight amongst the other medieval buildings.

3. Giotto’s Campanile : It was Constructed in 1334 through to 1359 and the

building was designed by the famous artist Giotto . Giotto’s Campanile Bell
Tower is one of the Highest Place in Florence which offers a marginally less
strenuous move to the top and a post right opposite Brunelleschi’s Dome.

4. Piazza Santa Croce : Piazza Santa Croce is one of the main plazas or squares

located in the central neighborhood of Florence, region of Tuscany, Italy.

This is the biggest Franciscan churches in Italy and famous not only for housing
frescoes by Giotto and the sculptures of Benedetto da Maiano, Desiderio da
Settignano and Canova.
