Why I choose this book ?

I choose this book

I choose this book because I have
seen the movie and I thought
that movie was amazing. I also want to
read this book to find differences
between the book and the movie. I also
like science fiction books and movies
because it's different from the real
world books like that fascinate me.

About the author

I choose this book

Lois lowry created 45 books she has two
newbery medals. Lois lowry was born in honolulu
Hawaii her first novel was a summer to die she
later then created the book anastasia which
became the first series of humorous books.

I choose this book

I think I already know because I saw the movie
and I think the book will end similarly. I think this
because the book so far has been very similar so
far.

Plot

I choose this book

There government is bad they are making people
take shots or “medications” to keep them from
seeing color. There floating island is plain and
their vision is black and white like the old
cameras and so people don’t act racist but
It is still not right to do that.

The beginning of the book

I choose this book

The beginning of the book is mainly about the
fact that he will no longer be a child and he is
going to have a job. He is very nervous and he
does not know what job he is going to get or
If he is going to like his job.

Middle of book

I choose this book

The middle of the book is when he finally gets
chosen but he was first skipped and then at the
end of the ceremony they said he was going to
be the giver. Then later during the week the giver
Was telling him that he may get scared and not
want to be the giver and the option was his to
choose only then. He decided to stay and the
giver told him that he did not need to take his
“medication” so then the next few days he was
taught to see color. Then he was taught to see
the past so he can also be considered the
receiver of memories. The day after he got
freaked out and he left and did not go back for a
few days.

End of book

I choose this book

In the end of the book they figured out that they
were going to release gabriel and that was bad
so they made a plan to save gabriel but that
meant he had to go out into the real world and
never see everybody he loved again but by doing
this it would destroy the chiefs of the “towns”. It
would destroy every single one except for the
giver and he could teach them to see color

Recommendations

I choose this book

I would recommend this to anyone even if you
don't like reading because it was amazing. But if
you absolutely hate reading or you like movies
or you want to see the movie to this book I
recommend the movie.
