Student prodigy Anthony Anderson barges into the life of his long forgotten brother, Phillip Anderson, shipwrecking the diner he works at. Inspired by the poverty in the 20th century of London, the story follows grouchy Phillip, along with his recently found attendant, Archie as they navigate the harsh streets of London nicknamed ‘The Island’, the notorious area where poverty is dominant. The setting gives context to the urbanisation of London contrasting against forgotten aspects of the city’s realities in 1990’s. The title is inspired by the song “Streets of London” which is chosen as it mirrors poverty in 20th century London; a byproduct of the post-industrial revolution. “You think you can grandly waltz in after wreaking havoc with the storm you trailed behind your feet? Since the moment you stepped out of mother’s death-stricken hospital walls, I knew only trouble would follow you.” The news forecasts predicted thunderstorms all throughout the week— and one of them, reeking of revenge. Stay indoors folks, you wouldn’t want the storm to stir you up! What a bad decision Anthony made, as now his ending is surely despair.
