follows:
• 1st (lowest NET)
• 2nd (second lowest NET)

Pigeon Bets:
Players have the option of betting another team, for any denomination, on
which of the two teams will beat each other.
This is typically done on a daily basis, with an equal amount wagered each
day.
For Example: $10/day, win day 1 against the team you bet, lose day 2, win
day 3 - you would win $10.
There is no limit to the number of teams you have a pigeon bet with.
It is up to the players to set up their own pigeon bets, reconcile and collect.

PAYOUTS - CALCUTTA AND TOURNAMENT
Calcutta:
The Calcutta is a live bid auction event. It is separate from
Day Money and also the overall event champion.
The teams who win, place and show are not necessarily
guaranteed a spot in the Horserace Shootout (which does in
fact determine the overall event champion.)
Each team will be paired with another team by a blind draw.
A team-pairing sheet will be available to each participant at the start of
the Calcutta on Thursday evening.
Each four-man team will be sold at a live auction with a minimum opening
bid of $250.
Bidding will continue until a high bidder is established.
Conglomerates or consortiums can be formed for bidding purposes, but
only one individual’s name is to be used as the bidding party, and will be
responsible for the payment of the bid amount and the distribution of any
monies won.
All wagers will be member charge, no cash.
14
Any team, who is either not choosing to bid or does not end up buying
themselves, will be allowed to purchase AT LEAST 25% of their team.
This is to be worked out directly with the final purchaser of the team.
90% of the money wagered in the Calcutta will be paid out as
follows (based on the money wagered in each of the 2 flights):
Round 1 - 1/5 of total, Round 2 - 1/5 of total, Round 3 - 1/5
of total and Overall - 2/5 of total
• 1st Place (30%)

• 3rd Place (20%)
• 4th Place

couples party.

The field is divided into four flights, based on handicap.
Each flight will send four teams, with the lowest cumulative scores, to
the Shootout after the conclusion of the third round of competition to
determine overall champion. 16 total teams will advance and be split
by flight (flights 1 and 2 together, flights 3 and 4 together). See
tournament play formats on pg. 11-12.This is outside and separate
