nowhere near enough. On a scale of ten, we have hardly reached
level two, from both the visible and divine perspectives, and the
physical and spiritual ones. It is the truth. One day, it will be your
turn to hold the fate and authority of the Faith. Only then will you
see clearly that the Faith keeps progressing. Our Faith have the most
difficult duty to harmonize religious beliefs of mankind. We must
create harmony with the current Religion on earth. People
acknowledge and know clearly that Religions have gone astray and
lost their original legacy. Mankind is looking for a spiritual force that
is virtuous enough to satisfy them. They are still looking but have
not found; they are still yearning and hungry for spirituality and
religions. We see that the Supreme Being establishes the Cao Đài
Religion on earth and appoints the Sacerdotal Council to form His
Holy Body. The reason is that He would like to live with His children.
You should try to study how valuable that is. Today, whichever
Being including even the supreme Buddhas like Shakya comes to
build their Faith, it should be solid enough to form the foundation
for the entire mankind. I dare to say that no Religion is as righteous
as Buddhism, but even Buddhism has lost their ability to save the
world. They only influence the East, while Europe is still looking for
a salvation philosophy. To be frank, the virtues of Religions are not
enough to satisfy mankind; they are still yearning (for spirituality).

Let us question why the Supreme Being would like to come Himself
to His children. He comes as the last resort; success or failure is all
dependent upon Him. He said, “I resolve to come to you My children.
If you fail to establish the Faith, I Myself have to reincarnate. Only I
have enough power to comfort and satify mankind.” He has ordered
Angels, Saints, Immortals and Buddhas to come, but mankind is still
suffering and yearning. That is why we have come to this age. His

disciples, including Angels, Saints, Immortals and Buddhas in the
Court of God pleaded to Him not to reincarnate. If He does not come,
can anyone establish the Faith for mankind? The Supreme Being has
said: “If you children fail, I have to reincarnate.” As we stopped Him,
we must succeed. The members of the Holy Body are actually Him;
we form His image through the members He appointed. Who knows
we were one of those who pleaded to Him not to reincarnate, and
thus we are now part of His Holy Body.

What I am going to say may be blasphemous. I would like to build
you up to be God of this world. It is My utmost wish that you became
God. I am afraid these words should not have been said. You must be
able to and I am sure you will. You cannot now, but you will later.
When the Angels, Saints, Immortals and Buddhas descend to form
the image of the Supreme Being and come with their holy spirit, it
will surely be possible. We are only to pave the way, but not the key
figures. The key ones are the Angels, Saints, Immortals and Buddhas;
when time comes, they will be here. They may already be among
you; I do not know which of you are, but I know it already happened
and will happen. I do not know and neither do you. When time
comes according to the Supreme Being’s plan, they will appear. We
do not see through the Holy will of the Supreme Being and the
original spirit of anyone, but do know that we have the duty to train
and form the Holy Body of the Supreme Being, i.e. to create God in
this world. If there is no God in this world, we will suffer and be
detroyed. It is uncertain where materialistic progress will bring us
to. Seven or eight out of ten humans will be gone unless the True
Religion comes into being.

I have just explained to you the most important and sacred duty. Not
only I but you all are also subject to the reprimand of the Supreme

Being. Even later generations are too, for eternity. Among My elder
brothers, my friends and you, if anyone in the Holy Body of the
Supreme Being fails to fulfill our duty, He will come. When He
comes, anyone that is in power but is not capable enough to keep
Him from decending will be punished. No spirit has ever been
unafraid.

We must know right and wrong, and bring the Holy Body of the
Supreme Being close to His children. That path My elder brothers
already walked, we are and you younger brothers will. As long as
you find ways to protect and secure the fate of the Faith, you will
fulfill the wish of the Supreme Being. You must cultivate yourself
everyday, and keep asking yourself if you can shoulder the
responsibilities. You must keep trying to fulfill your duties. I think
your wish will come true. You can if you try your best; because we
are sure that the Supreme Being helps us to. There is a French
saying that “Aide-toi le ciel t’aidera.” (God helps those who help
themselves); and our Confucian fathers said, “Tận nhơn lực tri thiên
mạng.” (If we try our best, we will see the divine plan) This is
incredibly true: only when we try our best will the Supreme Being
bestow on us His spirit. It is impossible unless we make efforts. You
know it. We are called upon by the Supreme Being to build (the
foundation), so we must try. If we do not succeed, we will be
trapped here. Remember that we have built the Faith for you so one
day you will follow the Teachings and Laws and pass on to later
generations. French people say: “Chaque soldat a un bâton de
maréchal dans son sacoche.” It means each soldier has a bludgeon of
the general in his bag. I say, “Each disciple is already donned with
the mitre of the Pope and the Hộ Pháp (Protector of the Laws);” you

are to blame if you cannot obtain them. Is it likely that the Faith will
be destroyed after the death of only one person?
Nothing is more joyful to Me than to see you step up to assume lofty
positions in the Faith when I enter the House of Meditation to spend
my last years. Such happiness will be great joy to Me.

44. PARENTS MUST SET GOOD EXAMPLES FOR THEIR
CHILDREN

Trí Giác Cung (The Palace/ Realm of Awakening), the 17th day of the
7th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

The young generation is the future of the country; whether they are
good or bad all depends on the upbringing of the mothers. Last night
sermon pointed out clearly that spiritual and psychological
education of future generations is your duty, old and young alike.
The females must preserve the customs. I would like all of you to
have families and many children. It is the duty of the mothers to
teach right from wrong; the future of the nation depends on you.

Babies copy their parents more than anyone else. Families whose
members do not respect each other, argue with and despise each
other are bad examples for the children. We stay here together amid
the peace and hardship; the hardship is shared between us.
Meanwhile, secular people live in loneliness and suffer even more
hardship. Animals like even the small ants stick together to drive the
intruders away, let alone humans. If we unite to live, we brothers
help each other when one falls. Those lonely souls suffer from awful
tragedies.

You complain about poverty, but have not eaten wild plant roots;
you are still eating sweet potatoes. You live in peace thanks to the
protection of the army; so try to work and support each other. Most
importantly, you need to make clever arrangements. Your security
here is of much happiness, while people in other places spent the
last two years in horrible fears.

45. THE INAUGURAL CEREMONY AT THE TEMPLE OF THE
MOTHER BUDDHA IN QUI THIỆN

The 16th and 17th day of the 7th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

His Holiness Hộ Pháp entered the Temple and performed rituals
before the altar of the Mother Buddha, the Bạch Vân Saints and the
Nine Female Buddhas. Then, He went upstairs to worship the
Supreme Being, and looked at the bell and drum towers. When He
came out, the congregation took Him to the Hộ Pháp Tịnh Đường
(Hộ Pháp Meditation House) to have a rest in front of the Qui Thiện
Supervision Board and the Charity Body Sacerdotal Council.

He said: “This complex belongs to the Charity Body, but is built
particularly for the Buddhist school in the old days. As he would like
to continue proper cultivation during the chaos and the Thảo Đường
(the Temple of Piety) failed to finish, Trứ came back here to fulfill
those aims. His origin was in Phú Mỹ. When the Qui Thiện School
was set up, the Faith was disturbed and troubled by the Official Ca to
the point of being aimless. Most troubled were the females, who
need to be brought back. Therefore, the Qui Thiện School mainly
serves to gather the females and preserve the original teachings
intact.

We once tried to rebuild our base but could not, because the Charity
Body Sacerdotal Council retreated to the Holy See. Then, Bần Đạo
was in exile; on My return, Bần Đạo tried to gather you back but
have not succeeded. The Qui Thiện School remains today thanks a
lot to the Sacerdotal Council and the Army. During the time of
Japanese occupation, Trứ caused disorder by refusing to follow
anyone. Then, the French Embassy sent a note questioning if Qui
Thiện was part of the Faith and why we harboured Việt Minh. They

decided to burn it down. The truth is we really harboured them,
which came out due to the pointer of the detectives. They only gave
up after Bần Đạo sent a letter replying that the Qui Thiện School
belonged to the Great Faith of the Third Amnesty. Later, Bần Đạo
told major Phương to assign an Army to protect it. That is why Bần
Đạo said the School remains thanks to the Sacerdotal Council and
the Army.

Before Bần Đạo’s return, the French army already asked the
Sacerdotal Council to acknowledge this School as part of the Faith.
That is why it still remains today. The Holy Body of the Supreme
Being is the only one; sects are surely heretical. We have seen many
sects formed, but what have they achieved up to this day? Divided
they will die or be destroyed.

The Sacerdotal Council is the only one; although it may take many
forms, the authority belongs only to the Holy Body of the Supreme
Being. If anyone means to divide, they will be destroyed. The two
fires which threatened to burn down the Qui Thiện School resulted
from Trứ’s intention to divide. The consequences of Trứ’s intention
are not My words; Saint Màng revealed your intention and plan.

Trứ, I know you most clearly; your master understands you. Does
Saint Màng blame you wrongly! He told Me everything: what you did
and even what you wanted to do. I repeat since the Faith of the
Supreme Being is the only one, anyone that cause division will be
destroyed. Not only will they be destroyed, but also go to Hell for
punishment. The Faith turns into hundreds of forms but is still
under the authority of the Supreme Being only.

Therefore, the Qui Thiện School shall follow the authority of the
Charity Body Sacerdotal Council. From now on, Trứ shall hold the

position of Đốc Trường (School Principal); you shall not be called
Chủ Trường (School Owner) because the School is led by the
Supervision Board. The Supervision Board shall be the School
Owner. Everyone shall follow the authority of the Charity Body
Sacerdotal Council who has never separated from the Cửu Trùng Đài
Sacerdotal Council (the Sacerdotal Council of the Nine Divine Plane
Body).

Actually, the Charity Body Sacerdotal Council serves to preserve the
original teachings according to the Constitution of the Hiệp Thiên
Đài (the Divine Alliance Body). The Charity Body in charge of
educating the people, while the Cửu Trùng Đài (the Nine Divine Plan
Body) has the Administrative function of guarding the properties of
the Faith. So this Qui Thiện School only serves to educate the people
and earns it own living; it shall not receive anyone’s donation. You
shall rely on your own production. Only donations from the good
hearts may be put into the school’s fund, but must be reported to the
Charity Body Sacerdotal Council immediately. From now on, all
School fees and profits shall be reported to the Sacerdotal Council.
The School’s documents remain separate but shall stay under the
management of the Supreme Being.

I repeat we shall not beg people. We shall rely on our own
production and our own only. One day, when I enter the Meditation
House, I will build Mediation Houses for Males and Females which
will be placed under the authority. You see that your master has
served and created a lot of property for the Faith, but still bow
before the Sacerdotal Council because their authority is the Supreme
Being’s Divine authority on earth. If sects are formed, they will not
only be destroyed but also watched by Hell.

I repeat again: all of you must keep it in mind. Trứ, this is the last
time I give you My words. If you do not listen, you will bear the
consequences with the witness of the Supervision Board and the
Charity Body Sacerdotal Council. From now on, you shall be called
Principal, not Owner, of the School. We can survive here only by
sweat and tear. I know very well your loyalty to and love for Me, but
your mind is rebellious. I Myself submit to the Sacerdotal Council,
but your opposition will lead to destruction.

Trứ says, “My master, when you came back, I confessed to you that I
did not submit to the Saigon Sacerdotal Council due to doubt.”

Why do you have doubt? I know that among ten incidences of
falsehood there must be some speck of truth. Although most of them
are strangers, I dare not say they are fake with the presence of a
Priest or Bishop. If they do not fulfill their duty, the Priest or Bishop
will go into trial at the Court of the Three Religions. You should
remember that no one among the Divine Alliance Body, the Nine
Divine Plane Body and the Charity Body accused you. It was Saint
Màng who accused you.

Do you know why we set up a unit in Sài Gòn? It is because I was
arrested by the French; they tried to bring their master back. The
high resentment urged them to stand up, and I can attest to their
positive result. Trứ says: “Because you were alone in exile, I was
afraid our action here would harm you, wouldn’t it? For this reason,
I disagreed wih them.” Don’t you know the power of the Supreme
Being? I knew they came to arrest, but still sat here without
opposition. If it harmed you, stop cultivating yourself. The
Supervision Board, please tell the Sacerdotal Council of the Cửu
Trùng Đài (the Nine Divine Plan Body) to come in.

(The Sacerdotal Council of the Nine Divine Plane Body came in).
Dear Dignitaries of the Nine Divine Plan Body, the Qui Thiện School
of the Divine Alliance Body today has been completed as the place
for females to cultivate exoterically and is placed under the
authority of the Sacerdotal Council of the Charity Body. The
Sacerdotal Council (of the Charity Body) has accomplished a lot in
helping build the School. Therefore, the Sacerdotal Council of the
Divine Alliance Body would like to present to the Sacerdotal Council
of the Nine Divine Plane Body the formal regulation of the Faith: this
organization is not private, but shall follow the laws of the
Sacerdotal Council of the Nine Divine Plane Body and the Divine
Alliance Body. If one day it strays from them, the two Bodies have
the right to dissolving it. Today, I would like to announce that it shall
be governed by the Divine Alliance Body; if it violates the laws or
fails to follow the original teachings of the Great Faith by
establishing sects, we can dissolve it.
At the end of His Holiness Hộ Pháp’s speech, the music comes up and
the Choir celebrates His blessing. During that time, the Supervision
Board and the School members come in to knowtow (to Him). He
says: “Do you know what I prayed when you kowtowed to Me? I
prayed to the Supreme Being that My brothers kowtowed to the
Supreme Being, not Me; and may the Master bless you.

46. THE DIÊU TRÌ FESTIVAL

Cửu Long Đài, 4 o’clock on the 15th day of the 8th month Mậu Tý year
(1948)

Every year, we perform the rituals before the Mother Buddha.
Perhaps everyone in the congregation finds it strange that Bần Đạo
wears the minor religious vestment in the Cửu Long Đài.

Dear all My living friends, Bần Đạo often say in front of the Mother
Buddha that She regards Her children the same regardless of our
status and wealth. Dear all male and female friends, in this worldly
life our soul suffers in many ways; Buddhism calls it a sea of
suffering. We see a lot of injustice before us; born into the human
society, we suffer and have more sorrow than joy. Like you, Bần Đạo
see the injustice and suffer due to wealth and status discrimination.
We have observed people fight: the high status dominate over the
low, the rich over the poor, the strong over the weak, and the smart
over the silly. They have all forgotten friendship. In this world, we all
suffer. We often wonder if we can find ways to comfort our soul.
Both our physical body and soul already suffer a great deal. As we
cannot seek means of comfort from our living friends, must we seek
divine comfort for our soul? There is no other place than going back
to the Mother who gives birth to our physical body and perispirit.

Do you know who the Mother Buddha is? She uses the seven types
of Qi/ energy to create our perispirit or emotions. Buddhism calls it
the seven emotions. Strangely enough, such energy turns into our
perispirit or second image. When we leave the physical body, that
Divine body still exists. Our (Divine) body can change, and our
culture grows over each life. Buddhism says that it can evolve,
devolve or stand still. Each soul wishes to continue evolving till they

can reach positions of Angel, Saint, Immortal and Buddha. As soon as
we attain perfection and our soul reaches those positions, the
Mother Buddha has enough power to stand by us in the Divine
Realm. That said, we can trust our soul (to that Being) while still in
this world; we do that when we go back to the Divine Realm. We
only live to fulfill our human duties, but it is not easy to be human.
We know that the invisible and lofty power who can rank souls and
hold the scale of justice without fail is the Great Merciful Father.
Now that our soul suffers, where can we seek comfort? There is no
other place than going back to our Divine Mother.

Dear living friends, status and wealth do not matter. She only cares
about Her children. All living beings are considered the same rank
by Her, because the Mother’s love has no ambiguity and
discrimination. Despite that, the Mother Buddha uses justice to
comfort Her children. She says: “The injustice in front of you is only
limited to your worldly life. Only I have enough power to uphold
justice when you are oppressed. Only I have an impartial heart
because I only know love.”

Therefore, that Being sows into the human mind the law of love. If
any friend loves Her children and we have endless love for other
peoples as well as the life of Her children, we will fulfill our duty (to
Her). We join efforts to comfort ourselves, bear the sufferings, and
then share the sufferings of mankind. We should govern more
cleverly by spreading love to the entire (Vietnamese) people. Let us
sow that love across all peoples on earth. I think the injustice we see
in the society will certainly be eradicated. That is how we can
eradicate the cruelty and brutality of life.

47. MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL

Holy See, Night of the 15th day of the 8th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

This time, we stop over on our path of evolution, i.e. the Divine Path
to Eternal Life, at the Nine Heavens of Creation. Bần Đạo will
continue next time.

The Mid-autumn Festival or the Diêu Trì Festival is a critical
ceremony in the Religion of the Supreme Being. Bần Đạo will explain
the philosophy behind the coming of the Mother Buddha. The
philosophy has its root in the security and order of the Creation of
the Universe. Isn’t it true that when we study a sublime philosophy,
we have the most clever method of going from the thorough details
to the overview? The security and order of the Universe is not
different from those of families. The method to maintain security
and order within the family also applies to the Creation of the
Universe.

What do we see today? We see that our parents give birth not only
to us but also to our siblings around us. We also see cousins in our
larger family. During early childhood, we are ignorant and do not
know order. Observation shows us that among brothers in the same
family the youngest one does not know how to respect his elder
brother; they call each other by very casual terms. Only the wise
ones show good manners. Their parents start out by teaching them
which one is at which rank in the family. They put them in clear
order. Without security and order in the family, they family rules
will go into disorder and not be able to protect it. The traditional
family rule governs that such order forms with our wisdom;
otherwise, any family or nation will fall no matter how much they
have accomplished. Mankind has reached a position of great

knowledge. They often think that there is security and order. Across
all nations, no power can govern their mind any more. Do they think
they can ever? They will never be able to cross the boundary of the
law. Although they would like to rebel, nations with their own
sovereignty will never abolish it. They put forward all kinds of
theory, including opposition to social class, so as to fight for
egalitarianism. Those acts do not go beyond the law of security and
order. Will a nation who strongly advocates the abolishment of
social class attain security and order? No, they will not. Without
security and order, there is no government, and thus no politics. We
see that they cannot overthrow the government; the more they do,
the more chaos and destruction happen. By observing the small
scale, we can project it to the larger Universe. Spiritually, the law of
security and order must also be respected. If it were abolished,
planets and suns would crash with each other; the entire Universe
would be destroyed. Without order among species on earth,
monkeys will have the same rank with humans and humans might
not win over them. Under-developed nations can never hold power.
They must evolve, or they will destroy each other. That is in relation
to the physical world.

We saw that the Supreme Being came and started out with His Holy
Teachings via seances. Before His coming, the Mother Buddha
already descended to establish rules and boundaries. Any
organization from small to large follows the same way. The Mother
Buddha is also similar to our worldly mother in creating and raising
us. The mother never wants her child to govern over her; neither
does she want the father force his children to follow him. We often
see the eldest brother in the family achieve honour and wealth, and
force his siblings to obey. The mother is never happy about that. She

only knows that he is one of her children, and nothing else. She only
has to define the order within the family, and never lets anyone
oppress her children.
In the Cao Đài Religion, there are two temples. In one temple, we see
order and hierarchy, because our spirits originate from the
hierarchy of the Nine Heavens of Creation. How noble it is! In the
other temple which worships the Mother Buddha or our Mother, our
nobility has no value. The Mother Buddha does not want Divine
Dignitaries to visit Her temple, and She never does. Titles and
classes do not have any meaning before the Mother Buddha, because
She does not want anyone to be oppressed; oppression will lead to
destruction.
People would like to follow the egalitarian framework of
Communism, but Communism cannot compare to the Cao Đài
Religion. In the Cao Đài Religion, there are different organizations of
equal standing. Everyone can choose the right path for themselves
here. We only have to decide which path to follow. Our path has no
end; nothing can take away its will or freedom. Our spirirtual path is
just like the Divine Realm; it has no end.

48. HIS HOLINESS HỘ PHÁP’S TRIP TO SAIGON TO ADVOCATE
INDEPENDENCE

Holy See, Night of the 9th day of the 7th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

Bần Đạo would like to thank the children of the Supreme Being.
During My days away, all of you at home prayed to the Great
Merciful Father so Bần Đạo could achieve good result. This time, the
most critical matter is we have had our wish come true. The French
representative, i.e. the Senior Ambassador Bollaert, announced to
the public that Vietnam had become independent. Now, the
Vietnamese government is joining their minds to discuss how to
formalize the independence of Vietnam. Let us reflect what it means
for us when the Supreme Being established His True Religion more
than twenty years ago. What does it mean for us to have our wish
come true today? Why does our entire nation have to kill each other
to achieve it? As we have followed the Supreme Being for twenty
three years, our mind should be wise and sensible enough to
understand these matters.

They have granted us full independence, but let us see if our people
will end the killing and bloodshed. If it persists, it is the result of our
karma. Unfortunately, it is strange that we won independence
thanks to our Religion. Both the Vietnamese and French people have
understood that our real independence depends only on the Cao Đài
Religion. While mankind is fighting for power and status by killing
and shedding blood, they experiment by trusting the sovereignty to
us to see if we have enough talent and resource to maintain our
independence.

All the children of the Supreme Being should consider our future a
critical matter to study more. If you have attained wisdom, you

should deliberately study why there was killing and bloodshed
before our independence is won. It is nothing strange. Bần Đạo will
explain to you clearly. The Religion came into being in 1926 when
Communism did not have any significance to our country. The
Supreme Being carried the corbeille-a-bec everywhere to ask our
Vietnam nation to follow His power; He nurtured and protected our
spiritual prowess which is the sword of wisdom to liberate our
people. How did our people respond to Him? They were very
indifferent. If ony they had listened to Him, there would not be
disaster today. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese people were more
inclined to cruelty than morality. How can’t there be mutual killing?
One side is Communism, the other Cao Đài in the same country. Our
independence should have been restored at that time, but has been
delayed until now. Our people dominated, the tragedy stupified us
and caused us to kill each other without us knowing. Bần Đạo am
telling the truth. The Great Merciful Father is very powerful and also
very kind. In this amnesty, He trusted Bần Đạo to be the Religious
Leader and to serve living beings. If living beings continue to kill
each other, Bần Đạo will say they deserve it and abandon them.
However, we have now been awakened and no longer ignorant; we
have been challenged time and again. Bần Đạo will watch us exercise
our four-thousand-year time-tested ability to accomplish our duty
(to restore the nation). They told us not to blame them for the
detainment. Unless our duty is accomplished, our entire nation had
better commit suicide.

49. SECULAR PEOPLE AND VIRTUOUS PEOPLE

Holy See, Night of the 17th day of the 8th month Mậu Tý year
(19/09/1948)

Today, we hold our progress on the Divine Path to Eternal Life; Bần
Đạo will continue tomorrow. Tonight, Bần Đạo will preach about the
most critical matter. All Male and Female disciples should consider it
a duty to cultivate your heart and virtue so you will steer the course
of the Faith.

Bần Đạo will compare secular people to virtuous ones. I will lay
them out in front so you will use your intelligence and judge who is
right or wrong. From our life experience, what do we learn about
secular people? Even if we have seasoned experience, what do we
learn about them? Often time people are indifferent, but it facilitates
our spiritual progress; it comes mainly from the heart. We may take
it for granted within our family, among friends and in the village or
society. People tend to respond to right things in the right way, and
wrong things in the wrong way. Great men who are wise enough to
control themselves will act in accordance with social mores,
regardless of others’ indifference or coldheartedness. Such spirit
sets the ‘quân tử’ (jun zi) apart from others, because others respond
to right things in the right way, and vice versa. Most strangely, there
are always ways for them (jun zi) to moderate their heart; every
time they commit an immoral or inhumane act, they will realize and
feel shame. We see that mean souls can never deny their meanness
which ever way they attain honour. Unfortunately, no one sheds
light on the mind of secular people. Unscrupulous means may be
hidden one or two days, but will eventually come to light. Therefore,
in any long-lived nation or society, no act, however devilish it is,

goes against the peple’s heart. Otherwise, there will be
counteraction. In this way, people and the society can survive. Such
is the miracle of the human heart; we are always afraid of people’s
mouth and tongue. We must safeguard our virtue.

Now, let us talk about human virtue. We should not bustle like
secular people. At the time when the Cao Đài Religion had not been
established, what was people’s virtue like? Bần Đạo do not stand
here to criticize, but didn’t you see it? Most young peple went to the
pagodas and burn votive money to buy wealth, as if they were
bribing the mandarins. Divine Beings do not accept such bribery.
Meanwhile, virtuous souls joined hands to support Religious
organizations, or built schools under the names of Religions. Such
was what people were like in the old days.

Bần Đạo will now discuss the days since the Supreme Being came to
build the Cao Đài Religion. Bần Đạo have nestled in the merciful
shade of the Supreme Being for twenty three years. Bần Đạo shared
the pains and tragedies with His children. There were both suffering
and joy; they were mixed together. Our elder brothers, in particular,
listened to the sacred call of the Supreme Being. They resolved to
sacrifice their physical body to Him, and became His arms and legs.
For that reason, they signed the Covenant with the created souls,
and undertook a sacred duty. There is no need to describe the merit
of our predecessors on this pulpit; they do not need it, and it will
sadden you all. Amid the dire sufferings, there were those who were
fully pious to the Supreme Being and fully loyal to the Sacerdotal
Council. Thanks to them, He could create His Holy Body. What a pity:
Due to the humble name and image, they faced inferiority in every
respect. Our nation was enslaved, and our country knew neither
freedom nor sovereignty; they felt ashamed. Their heart and virtue

in the early days can be seen through their contribution to the Faith
and life. They started the great cause for the Vietnam country and
people. Unfortunately, they were born as Vietnamese and carried
the Vietnamese blood. Another type of people who thought they
could command themselves also made contribution. However, due
to their narrow-mindedness, they did not align with the eternal
power, but use their own power. Bần Đạo need to bring that to light.
They used their own means to build a reserve for the protection of
their family; they only served their own power. At that time,
divisiveness, greed and competition interfered in all matters. Bần
Đạo witnessed all. No sin, no right or wrong deed could escape Bần
Đạo. Their life is recorded in the Realm of Eternal Life of the
Supreme Being. Although they are not fortunate enough to return to
the Supreme Being, they left the great cause to their family and
children. Bần Đạo stand certain witness that their children can
inherit that great cause; they can drink the milk of their ancestors.
Who knows the children here will not inherit the great cause of the
Faith in a later day. They knew they did not serve their own benefit.
Bần Đạo can say that they left behind their great cause for the Faith
and the Sacerdotal Council to raise their children. Despite their
desire for power and wealth, they eventually still aim to bring up
their children. Actually, the children will be disgusted if they are
brought up by unscrupulous means; but they do not say it. Those
who are loyal and pious to the Supreme Being will be highly
respected by them. With the fortune of their forefathers, they will
stand tall above others and lead mankind one day. Between those
two paths, all of you should reflect and choose at your will.

50. VIETNAM BECOMES INDEPENDENT IN THE FRENCH UNION
Holy See, The trip to Saigon, the 27th day of the 8th month Mậu Tý year
(1948)
The government invites Bần Đạo to Saigon again tomorrow.
Previously, Bần Đạo heard the Senior French Ambassador announce
on the radio amid the crowded public. He delivered a speech saying:
“Vietnam’s independence in the French Union is declared to the
entire Vietnam nation. I myself made this decision and will not
revoke it.” Vietnam is fully independent from now on. He has
already asserted it. His entire government will be handed over to
Vietnam. His Holiness Pope Li (Li Tai Pei) once prophesied, “Joy is
destined to come in autumn.” It is truly so. Whether we succeed
depends on our ability, dream, spirit and resourcefulness in
commanding our fate. The entire congregation at home should also
pray the same to the Great Merciful Father.

51. HIS HOLINESS HỘ PHÁP’S EXPLANATION AFTER THE
MEETING WITH THE SENIOR FRENCH AMBASSADOR

Holy See, Night of the 3rd day of the 9th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

Perhaps during Bần Đạo’s trip to Saigon, everyone at home looked
forward to the news and Bần Đạo’s return so you know the future of
the country. Bần Đạo would like to thank the entire congregation for
wholeheartedly praying to the Great Merciful Father, both the Male
and Female disciples. Bần Đạo went to Saigon this time mainly
because of the invitation of the Senior French Ambassador. He was
about to return to France and renounce his position as Senior
French Ambassador in Vietnam. As he has great trust in Bần Đạo, he
invited Bần Đạo there to make the decision. It is not strange; even
families discuss important matters through smaller details. For
example, when the head of a family would like to talk to another
family about their mutual interests, he cannot make decisions on his
own. When two families are in conflict, the family heads go into trial.
They must be wise, righteous and sensible enough to make rational
decisions and pacify the families. That way, they will be able to
prevent objection from either family.

We are in the same situation now. Everyone fights for their own
interests. Bần Đạo Myself see through it, and know it is very difficult.
Most strangely, even in this moment, people are still not honest:
they either do not dare to speak the truth, or lie to deceive the
nation. They bewilder everyone. Fortunately, in the meditation door
of the Supreme Being, we are sitted on the tower of Awakening.
With our grain of widom, we see clearly the pack of lies and
deception; nothing is honest. Despite all the resistance and
independence claim, when they restore our independence, no one

dares to take it. They are not talented and virtuous enough to
undertake such duty. When we demand sovereignty and
independence, they require us to set up the government with our
talent. Critical positions and authorities aside, there are still not
enough people to fill provincial inspector and mayor positions.
Why? Because all the talents have been killed by dictatorship. Now it
is time to shoulder the critical roles and steer the fate of the nation,
but no one dares to. It is no different than a worship ritual. The
Priest invites the families to the temple; then, everyone just looks
around. No one can cook, prepare the ingredients, split wood and
carry the water. They only argue with each other. That situation will
befall us. We would like to change the situation, but no one inside or
outside the nation work well with each other. No one has the
capacity to make decisions. In this critical moment, it all depends on
our people’s mind, but they only argue and fight. Bần Đạo went
down there to hear the two bell chimes and observe the real
situation. Furthermore, My spiritual heart tells Bần Đạo that only
the True Religion of the Supreme Being enables Bần Đạo to carry out
that duty, but so far nobody has. They say the French Vietnamese
are colonists. Who are colonists? They say the French Vietnamese.
What a pity! They carry both French and Vietnamese blood. If we
judge with justice, they are causing disharmony.

Colonists were only here when France first invaded Vietnam. Now,
colonists are Vietnamese. To complicate matters, they (French
Vietnamese) are born by Vietnamese mothers. Seeing that their
mothers are poor while their fathers are rich and honourable, like
children seeing their father has more pies, they have to abandon
their mothers. As their fathers are talented and virtuous enough to
protect them, they depend on them for their life. Having incapable

mothers forces them to rely on their fathers. It is nothing strange.
They live an honourable life and do not know who colonists are.
They explained to Bần Đạo, “We are this way, but are accused of
being colonists. We do not know what to do.” Who can we blame?
We have to blame our people. Although they are Vietnamese, they
keep being hated and driven away. How can we pacify the two
peoples? We are all to blame. Bần Đạo Myself have witnessed that
situation many times, because Bần Đạo held the authority of
citizenship for many years. They undertook the duty, but failed to
carry out. Unless they fulfill it, they will have to bear the sin.
Actually, none of them dare to. With feelings for the country, they
complained to Bần Đạo before leaving, “It is the first time we have
ever heard the comfort of our mothers.” Our nation has been
breeding disharmony and hatred, and destroying the tie. It is hard to
heal. The current disaster is the result of such separation. To reverse
the situation, we have to mend the bond so one day we can improve
the future of our nation.

52. THE HARMONY OF THE UNIVERSE

Holy See, Night of the 14th day of the 9th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

Today, Bần Đạo postpone our progress on the Path to Eternal Life in
order to preach about a critical topic related to all Religions. Bần
Đạo will preach about the harmony of the Universe, i.e. the law
which governs the creation of the Universe and the visible world we
are looking at. Harmony leads to unity, unity to stability, and
stability to peace. Otherwise, there will be counterforce. Lack of
harmony breeds opposition, separation, instability and chaos.
Whether we study Religion, Philosophy, Psychology or Science, we
are sure that unless the visible world in front of us follows the law of
harmony, the Universe will be destroyed. In terms of Religious
Study, unless the (Yang) spirit from the Supreme Being unites with
the Yin element of the Mother Buddha, there would be neither
Monad nor anything in the Universe. We see evidence in the
harmony of our body. From Religious philosophy, we learn that
without the seven Divine Qi/ vital energy to create our physical
body we would not exist. In layman’s terms, unless the the sperm
from our father becomes one with the blood of our mother, there
would be no harmony in creation which is the topic of today’s
sermon.

Can we rely on harmony? Without harmony, the secret mechanism
which creates us and the animals in front of us would not be at
work. Without it, there would be neither male nor female. The
creation of male and female mainly relies on harmony to help
mankind reproduce. In addition, without harmony in the workings
of the Divine, the Faith would not exist, because no one would get
along. Nations also follow the law of harmony to survive and unite

their people. There are many similar reflections in philosophy. If we
understand the law of the Tao, we know that fire and water cannot
come together. Since we found the power of water and steam, it has
moved ships of up to 30,000 tons. It is undeniable. Regarding
natural electricity, when negative energy comes in contact with
positive energy, they create lightning and thunder. Lightning is the
fire born from such contact. Its power is unimaginable. Steam power
today is just as strong as electric power. We now have methods to
‘harvest’ and put it into the shiny lights.

In a nation, society or nature, the law of harmony is one that creates
the Universe. If we can unite opposite elements, we hold the
creation mechanism in our hand just like fire produced from the
contact of two forces. Such fire is lighting up families at this moment.
Now, human societies on this planet are in chaos and are cruel to
each other. Why? The reason is that visible institutions cannot
satisfy mankind. Unfortunately, visible institutions have never
satisfied the human mind. The human mind can only follow
Religions in order to be patient, and know our goal, self-control and
role in relation to our body. Religions today have lost their ability to
relieve human sufferings. The more sufferings, the harder it is to
live. The further civilization progresses, the more sufferings
mankind faces. Nations are now in opposition, and fighting with
each other. Bần Đạo have said that lack of harmony leads to
opposition, separation, instability and chaos.

Now, in order to find solutions to save us, let us put our mind to
work. We see that lack of harmony leads to opposition and
separation. If we do not share similar minds, goals and lives, there
will be instability. Bần Đạo am talking about all nations. Instability
certainly results in chaos. Now, we would like to find ways to avert

chaos and restore peace. The world is unstable; we must solve it.
They are divided; we must find ways to unite. They are in
opposition; we must bring them into harmony. Can we find such
method? Before the Supreme Being founded the Faith, we would say
it was hardly possible. Today, the Supreme Being has come; He
Himself saw the hardship of mankind who were killing each other
amid chaos. He brings revitalization and the means to save mankind,
i.e. He brings to this world His True Religion and harmony. Such
harmony spreads and covers the entire planet. Chaos originates
from disharmony. If we harmonize animosity, we end chaos and
restore peace. Therefore, Bần Đạo dare to assert that they are
looking for a True Religion. We see that Religions are not
harmonizing human minds but breed chaos; they will by no means
survive.

The Cao Đài Religion now advocates harmony to change the
situation. Bần Đạo would like to repeat and ask you to keep in your
heart the heartfelt words of the Supreme Being. Any act of ours that
causes human minds to go into disorder, divisiveness and
disobedience will violate Divine laws. Do not take it for granted. It
will push mankind to war and endless destruction. If we fail to
provide a remedy, we will become the worst criminal of mankind.
The white flag of the Supreme Being, i.e. the Cao Đài flag, must
restore peace to all nations of the world. Only when we bring them
into harmony do we deserve to be the Faith founded by the Supreme
Being Himself.

53. REQUIEM CEREMONY FOR THE DECEASED SOLDIERS

8 A.M., the 2nd day of the 10th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

Today, we pray for the Religious Martyrs, i.e. All Saints’ Day. Its
origin dates back to the time at the birth of His Holiness Jesus Christ
when there was prophecy that the Saviour/ Messiah would appear
to lead mankind’s spirit. The devious kings and lords were afraid of
losing their power; they sought to kill him. He escaped the hunt. As
they knew His birthday, they searched and killed all babies who
were born on the same day. All those souls were sanctified because
they died for the life of the Saviour/ Messiah. Christianity
commemorates that day when the Saints sacrificed themselves for
the Saviour/ Messiah. Today, we commemorate the deceased
soldiers who sacrificed their life to bring happiness to the world and
independence to the country. They are sinless souls who died for the
happiness of others. Therefore, we get together today to hold this
grand ceremony and pray for the soldiers who made sacrifices to
protect people’s lives. Today is an important day which has also
been formalised by the government. We should pray from our heart
to show that the living never forget the deceased, and that both the
living and the deceased worship the same ideology. The only
difference is life and death, apart from which no one can
differentiate. Without differentiation, mankind becomes one. The
spirit is the same; discrimination comes from secular minds, while
the spirit does not discriminate against skin color and nation. There
is only one common origin which is the realm of Eternal Life; there
is only one Supreme Being who is God.

Today, we get together to pray for our friends or our benefactors so
they will rise (to the Divine realm). Let us also offer this entire

physical body to the Supreme Being; all our prayers and deeds will
be offered to Him. Divine Dignitaries, Sub-dignitaries and disciples
must make sincere offerings to the Supreme Being like we offer
ourselves to Him.
His Holiness Hộ Pháp said: “True patriots will try to do anything that
benefits the people and the country, however trivial it is. Meanwhile,
they will not commit any act that goes against the interests of and
harms the nation, whatever reputation or wealth it brings.”

54. PAPAL DAY

Papal tower, 8 A.M., the 13th day of the 10th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

Today, we hold a ceremony to commemorate the former Pope. All
the male and female children of the Supreme Being know that His
spirit is that of His Holiness Lý Ngưng Vương. We have been bearing
a feeling of loss for the last 14 years, because we no longer have with
us the Great Immortal who the Supreme Being chose to found the
salvation organization. Let us recall His living days when He built up
the True Cao Đài Religion; He went through plenty of hardship. In
the middle of the twentieth century when mankind has forgotten the
Tao, He advocated peace as the focal point of spiritual virtue in the
East. He continually beat the Lôi Âm drum (Sound of Thunder drum)
and chimed the Bạch Ngọc bell (White Jade bell), but mankind
played deaf and blind to the salvation organization. He brought to
them the vital energy which will resurrect them upon the land of
death, but they have yet woken up to protect their life. No wonder
why the Representative of the Supreme Being was despised during
His life. Due to divisive minds, they suffer mutual killing and
destruction today. Let us recall the fourteen years during which He
united the spirit and conscience of all the children of the Supreme
Being. However, there was no clear image of the True Religion of the
Supreme Being yet. Because of My gratitude to Him, Bần Đạo
shouldered the weighty duty to shed light on the truth and sow
justice into the human mind during the time of struggle for the True
Religion of the Supreme Being. Many opposing forces joined hands
to destroy the Faith. During the fourteen years without His image,
Bần Đạo suffered six years of exile, and mustered resources to build
the True Religion for only eight years. No visible force can ever
destroy spiritual institutions. Thanks to the harmony within the

boundary of religious laws, the Cao Đài Religion has manifested its
physiognomy and stood tall in this world. Thanks to its truthfulness,
no sharp blade can dominate its spirit, and no force can suppress it.
It must triumph over life to save life. A True Religion with this
sublime spirit will be imperishable and indestructible. Thanks first
to His founding efforts, let us bow and pray to express our gratitude
to Him.

55. THE LAST CYCLE CEREMONY IN MẬU TÝ YEAR

Holy See, the 15th day of the 10th month Mậu Tý year (1948)

Until this Last Cycle ceremony, the True Religion of the Supreme
Being has reached 24 years old. During the 24 years, the True
Religion of the Supreme Being went through a lot of hardship:
Change, sadness, tear, joy, humility, honour and anger. In those 24
years, His entire Holy Body and all His male and female children
shouldered a lot of sufferings, tragedies and distresses. Today, the
True Religion bestowed by the Supreme Being on our people has
been completed. Let us reflect if it is worth what we paid for in the
24 years.

In retrospect, if we are just in our conscience and judge with our
mind, we realise that our sufferings are nothing compared to the
great Divine cause which saves all our people both physically and
spiritually. Let us reflect with justice on the sufferings of the
previous Religious Leaders who followed the order of the Supreme
Being to come establish Religions and save the world. Not only did
they suffer in the soul but their body was also tortured to a tragic
extent. Regarding humiliation, no Being was not humiliated
spiritually. We see that the Supreme Being never owes us. He is
never in debt to His children, even in terms of love. He only gives but
never receives. Since time immemorial, no mortal person has ever
been at loss after offering their soul and mind to Him. They only
received more than they gave. People often say that death is the end.
Let us reflect on it. A Being who offered His entire life to save the
world like His Holiness Jesus Christ endured sufferings during His
two-year religious mission. Then, He was crucified by the Jews like a
man in the street. No sin against any king or social leader in any

society or country can be compared to that against His Holiness
Jesus Christ. During His religious mission, He was humiliated and
imprisoned time after time. No suffering was new to Him until He
passed away on the Crucifix. He knew no happiness in His life; He
passed away on the Crucifix as a prisoner with a death sentence.
Only His Holiness Jesus Christ gave out a loan to one Being who is
the Supreme Being, the Great Merciful Father and our Master today.
Only that Being is in debt, and Christianity has ruled the mind of
people over the entire planet. His glory is out of this world. At that
time, He said, “The bird has their nest; the weasel has their burrow;”
but He could find no place to rest due to the Cause. From His lament,
we learn that no one was as poor as His Holiness Jesus Christ. Today,
we see His incomparable glory as the Lord of almost this entire
world in terms of the body and the soul. Who can pay that debt?
Only that Being can give and pay back in glory, nobility and power.

Since then, the Supreme Being has never given to anyone else. That
Being does not deny His debt; He continues to pay it 2,000 years
after the lender’s decease. That Being never turns His back on His
Holy Body and children. Bần Đạo know that for sure. Bần Đạo have
always advised you to uphold spiritual virtue to deserve to be His
servant, disciple and children, because that is all we need to do. That
Being does not want to owe our love. In the 24 years when we built
the the Faith and the Supreme Temple in this world, He never turns
His back on us. Bần Đạo can say that no trivial debt of love will not
be compensated by Him. During the 24 years when we served and
learned from Him, we only knew one thing, i.e. to offer ourselves to
Him so He has mercy to grant amnesty to the entire mankind and to
forgive the sins mankind has committed since the beginning of time.
We will receive His blessing, i.e the second (*third) amnesty on

earth. Only by accomplishing such amnesty can we avoid mutual
killing and destruction. Otherwise, there will be the most tragic war
since the creation of heaven and earth.

56. HIS HOLINESS HỘ PHÁP’S SPEECH AT THE CREMATION
CEREMONY FOR THE APOSTLES
The 15th day of the 1st month Ất Mùi year (07/02/1955)
Anyone that oppresses you oppresses Me, and it is not easy to
oppress Me. One day when the Cao Đài Religion spreads rapidly
aross the continents, the world will rush here to beg for the Relics of
the Saints to bring home and worship. It will be just like the grand
reception of the Buddha’s Relics today.

57. THE FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Holy See, Tý time on the 1st day of the 11th month Mậu Tý year
(01/12/1948)

This time, Bần Đạo hold the progress of our soul on the path to
Eternal Life to preach about a critical matter related to our soul.

When Bần Đạo returned to the Holy See, Bần Đạo have been paying
attention and compelling all Dignitaries to attend the worship at the
Holy See. Bần Đạo will explain why so you will all understand the
mysterious secret of your cultivation and try to cultivate more.
Everyone often says they look for the Tao. The Tao has been laid out
in front of us; more exactly, the Tao has been trusted to us. It is put
into the hands of the owner by the Supreme Being.

Bần Đạo recall the embryonic stage of the Faith when Bần Đạo went
to Thủ Đức and stayed there for seven months. The Pope (Li) guided
via seances during the time when Bần Đạo was still not clear about
Religious truths and was still studying them. Due to the eagerness to
learn, Bần Đạo asked Him many out-of-line questions. If anyone
urges today or in the future, Bần Đạo will not dare to ask again.
During one session, He complained that the human mind is now
lacking in spiritual virtue. For this reason, life is chaotic. The
intellectuals and monks are researching and seeking good ways to
remedy the situation. Unfortunately, at that time Religions were
fading, conscience vanishing. How could mankind know their
capability to rule themselves? Only by building ourselves up and
ruling ourselves can we understand the mysterious secrets. If each
individual can better themselves and each society and the entire
mankind respect themselves, they can remedy the destruction.

Unfortunately! The tragedy of the destructive war originates from
humans’ lack of spiritual virtue. Due to lack of virtue, desire for
material wealth pushes them toward materialism and the search for
happiness therein. Happiness has no shape; they think they can be
happy by killing each other to protect their own life. They are no
different from animals which fight to live and know neither virtue
nor humanity. The entire mankind is now jeopardised due to
absence of spiritual virtue. They not only lack virtue but also refuse
it; it is nothing to them. As a result, the Supreme Being comes to
establish the Faith.

Bần Đạo see declining spirituality in this twentieth century.
Scientific civilization urges mankind to broaden their mind to the
extreme. They think they can control life and death. Learned men
like Phan Thanh Giản saw the civilization develop to a mysterious
level during his diplomatic trip to France. Despite being a man of
letter in Vietnam, he was even afraid and admitted the civilization
had reached extremity. He submitted a report to the king which
contained a seemingly overstatement:

“Their skill can be compared to heaven and earth,

Except only for power over life and death.”

He meant that their materialistic capability was not lesser than
Creation; only life and death are subject to the power of Creation.
Therefore, we see that literature and science rule the human mind.

It would be fortunate if science led the human mind to spiritual
virtue. In reverse, such civilization only spawns materialistic way of
life; they seek happiness in materialism. Consequently, Religions
lose power. Bần Đạo thought others also noticed this, and thus asked

His Holiness Pope Li. Bần Đạo asked, “In this twentieth century,
civilization has gone too far. I am afraid it is fruitless to advocate
spiritual virtue as the means of salvation. Admittedly, around two
thousand years ago, mankind still preserved their conscience and
was inclined to spiritual virtue. Spiritual virtue at that time was like
seeds sown into a fertile field; the seed grew as a result. Meanwhile,
the twentieth century is the age of material civilization. I am afraid it
is no use proposing virtue as the means of salvation.”

He sighed! He asserted: “According to My kind friend, mankind at
this time does not need virtue, do they?”

Bần Đạo replied, “Indeed, mankind does not need virtue in this age;
they only seek happiness in science civilization. They can, can’t
they?”

He laughed, “Science civilization only feeds their body; their soul
will be hungry for sure.”

Bần Đạo asked: “Why do You say they soul will be hungry? Does the
soul need food?”

“Yes, there must be food to nourish the soul like the body. Without
food, the soul will wither and die.” Then, He taught Bần Đạo a
sublime philosophy. In a human, there are three entities called the
three souls, and seven emotions called seven personalities. They are
closely related to each other. Certainly, there are three parts in each
human which need nourishment to survive. Therefore, the Supreme
Being said that activities of the mind and soul form our ego. Those
three entities must be fed to survive like our physical body.
Religions are like essential matters; there must be food and drink to
keep the essential matters alive. The second entity is our intellectual

mind. We see that humans not only seek good food to sustain the
physical body, but also watch stage performance, dance, play,
gamble and smoke. They think those are the food to nourish their
mind, but do not know that they are harmful. No, the soul also
requires food which is sublime philosophy. The second entity is
called Qi; the Supreme Being calls it the perispirit. It is the
intermediary between the body and the soul. Its kindness protects
the body, while its conscience seeks food for the soul. What do we
feed the soul with? Material is food for the body, while the soul lives
upon spiritual virtue. To cultivate ourselves means to find ways to
protect spiritual virtue and feed our soul so we can reach positions
of Angel, Saint, Immortal and Buddha. We guide and protect the soul
in order to have enough strength to walk the Divine Path to Eternal
Life.

Where can we find virtue? We must find it at the Divine door of
Eternal Life, i.e. the Religious door. The soul is fed when we attend
the praying sessions in the Temple. If you do not know the taste of
the food, you are not blessed. You may think we are obliged by the
Codes to pray in the Temple, but in fact it is to feed your soul. Bần
Đạo think you must all attend the praying sessions, because you
have not known its taste. Like the countryside men who are force-
fed some kind of cake; when they know its taste, they sell off their
clothes to buy it.

At this moment, the Females have not known the good taste of such
food. Only when all of you know its taste will you like and hunger for
it however little it is. Food often tastes good in time of hunger.
However, Bần Đạo advise you not to stay too hungry; your soul may
perish. Food for the soul has limitless Divine power to help us shed
the cruel outfit. If we let the outfit stick to our skin, upon our death

the desire for secular power will be sloughed off by the Divine. How
painful it will be. You will repent and become afraid.
Nothing that is stipulated by the Supreme Being in His True Religion
is useless, whether it is esoteric or exoteric. That Being loves His
children dearly. Anything that is not useful and is not wanted by His
children will be abolished by Him. Since the beginning, all the Bible,
Rituals and virtue-related arrangements have been initiated by the
Supreme Being, rather than any other Being. As He Himself tended
to them, they must serve certain essential and useful purpose. That
is why He forces us to follow. Now that Bần Đạo force strict
compliance, some may be complaining in secret. When you meet
Bần Đạo in the Divine realm, Bần Đạo will ask if forcing you to
attend praying sessions is a merit or a sin. We will have a strange
and endless discussion. Only then will you know what is right and
wrong.
Today, in this moment Bần Đạo stand on this pulpit and advise that
you are still very lazy. Your body has sinned; you must watch your
soul closely. Otherwise, you will regret one day when it is too late.
