What is a blizzard ?

• So,what is a blizard ? Why it is so scary ?
• First , according to the National Weather Service ,

a blizzard is defined as a storm with a large
amounts of snow or blowing snow .
• It winds greater than 35mph(56kph) , equals to
15.55m/s , and the visibility of human will
decreases until less than 1/4 miles(0.4km)only for
at least 3 hours . OMG , so scary .

What cause a blizzard

• In general , blizzards occur when a mass of warmer air
collides with a mass f very cold air . The cold air mass
cutss under the warm air mass , and as the warm moist
air rises upwards ir forms snoow . The collision of the air
masses also provides atmospheric tension requuired for
high wind speeds .

What was the worst blizzard happened in
history ?

• It was the 1972 Iran
blizzard , which caused up
to 4000 reported deaths .
It was the most deadliest
blizzard recorded in
history . Dropping as much
as 26 feet (7.9m) of snow ,
completely covered about
200 villagers .

Which places has the most blizzards ?

The answer is , at the
south dakota which
located in USA . It has
the averagge about 11
blizzards in a year . At
the Red River Valley in
eastern North Dakota
and western Minneasota
have the most recorded
blizzards

How to stay safe in a blizzard ?

• 1. Stay indoors and dress
warmly .

• 2. Eat regulary and drink
more water .

• 3. Always keep dry .

• 4. If you must go outsIde ,
wear layered clothing ,
mittens and a hat .

• 5. If driving , always carry
a cell phone .
