What God does and does not
approve



If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call
the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, (not doing
thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words): (Isaiah 58:13)



1) “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the
glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

2) “Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.” (Leviticus
19:2)

3) “And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:…” (Genesis 2:3)

4) “…the holy sabbath unto the Lord…” (Exodus 16:23)
