2015 YEAR 12 GEOGRAPHY CAMP
In November 2015 the Year 12 Geography cohort
went to the east, west and south coasts of the Yorke
Peninsula (Adjahdura land) on their first fieldwork
trip for the year. The students were guided for three
days by the amazing Adjahdura Narungga leader, Mr
Quentin Agius, who helped the students to gain an
understanding of the Adjahdura culture, be clear on
why certain coastal sites are so culturally valuable
to the Adjahdura Narungga and how some of those
sites are being mismanaged.
All students that were in attendance were amazingly
respectful, well-mannered and engaged throughout
the whole trip. They did the College proud and
engaged in a cultural exchange experience that very
few people ever get the privilege or ability to be able
to participate in. A very valuable experience.
