Banner March Guidelines .......................................................................................... 27 banner march.

An example of a banner march would be to pick the theme “Happy in
Jesus”. Your group may want to march in singing “I’m Happy in Jesus”
while wearing blue jean skirts with happy faces on it.

Your banner would identify who you are (i.e. church name, or state
convention name, district name, etc.) and in order for your banner to reflect
your theme, you also put a happy face on it, or even pictures of your group
smiling.

Once you’ve marched in, someone from your group can step out and tell
why you are so happy or could sing another “happy” song. Everything
should work to bring out your theme. Be as creative as you can and
remember it is all about Christian fun and fellowship because everyone is a
winner with Christ.

The first duty of the Secretary will be to file an application for membership in the 5
National Convention, giving the name of the Church, association, and name and
address of the President and Secretary. This application should be mailed to the
Office of the Auxiliary President.
The position of Secretary offers opportunities for anyone who has skill and/or
ability that can be used effectively. A person’s ability and personal traits will
determine how effectively she handles the job as Secretary.
As a Secretary makes a success of her duties and responsibilities, she helps to
make her auxiliary successful. Just as a chain is made up of separate links, the
Secretary will find herself being one of the most important links in the chain. An
auxiliary offers individuals an opportunity to fellowship, learn, work and grow
together. It is the Secretary’s responsibility to always do her best, thereby
contributing to the success of the auxiliary.
The Secretary is the recording officer of the auxiliary and the custodian of its
records, except those specifically assigned to others, such as the treasurer’s books.
An auxiliary may elect to have an assistant to the Secretary.

~ LUKE 1:46-53, KJV ~ to a parliamentary inquiry is not a decision and therefore cannot be appealed. An

A motion to suspend the rules may be made at any time when no question is
pending or while pending, provided it is for a purpose connected with that
question. A parliamentary inquiry, if it relates to a question that requires
immediate attention, may be made while another has the floor, or may even
interrupt a speech. It should not however, be permitted to interrupt a speaker any
more than is necessary to do justice to the inquirer. A request for information
relating to pending business is treated just as parliamentary inquiry, and has the
same privileges. A request for leave to withdraw a motion, or a motion to grant
such leave, may be made at any time before voting on the question has
commenced, even thought the motion has been amended. It requires no second.

If a member is elected to office or appointed to a committee, or has any other duty
placed on her and she is unable or unwilling to perform the duty, if present, she
should decline immediately, and if absent, she should, upon learning of the fact, at

the duty.

Every resolution should be in writing.

Every motion must be seconded. A motion is seconded by a member saying, “I • Support Associations and Conventions

When a motion has been made and seconded, it is the duty of the presiding officer
to immediately state the question unless she has ruled it out of order. In other
words, state the exact question that is before the membership for its consideration
and action. Example: “It has been moved and seconded that he following

Same story, different gender. Young and old, saved and unsaved, our sisters need some help. Society
expects us to he uneducated and uninformed. They expect us to be the unwed mother, or a soon to be unwed
mother. Today we are lifting up our sisters that they may be over comers and not bound by those things that
are not of God. We lift up the lost, confused, the sick and the tired, the single moms, the wives, the ones who
have dedicated their bodies to their God and their future husband, the one that is searching for love, the one
who just can’t seem to forgive and the one who just can’t seem to trust anyone. We are asking God to make
us (because we are in the sister category too) worthy vessels and a woman after God’s own heart.
