Producing high quality graduates from health profession schools who can work effectively in a rapidly changing world is a challenging task. Teachers and educators working in a health science school should be equipped with knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be able to manage a curriculum effectively. Master of Science (health science education) is a program that has been carefully designed to provide learners with knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are important to manage a health science education program. We developed this program based on principles of flexibility, diversity, and comprehensiveness. Learners can adjust their learning experience in a way that fits with their life style and learning needs. Learners can expect to meet classmates from various settings and specialties and learn from teachers who are experts with diverse experience. Our program contains five core elements: research, learning, assessment, curriculum, and leadership. We also have plenty of elective courses to fulfill various needs of learners. Objectives of the Program By the end of the study, graduate students will have qualification based on Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education as follows: 4.1 Demonstrate ethical practices in providing educational services and apply ethical principles to guide others towards appropriate practices 4.2 Explain principles in health science education, including research, teaching and learning, assessment, curriculum, program evaluation 4.3 Analyze problems, synthesize solutions, evaluate educational research, and apply basic educational principles to improve learning, assessment, curriculum, and organizational management 4.4 Work effectively with others, either as a leader or followers, take full responsibility in their work, and responsible for individual and group works 4.5 Analyze quantitative and qualitative data collected from educational research and summarize the findings properly, communicate effectively in verbal or written format, and employ educational technology as well as information technology constructively 5.
