Woman Glamour Awards 2019 - Pre-Event Media Information

19 June - Woman Glamour Awards 2019 is an upcoming celebration of the many female trailblazers
in Malaysia. It is organised by the media platform The Girlfriends, and will take place on the 8th of
August, 2019 at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, starting at 6pm. The aim is to recognise the efforts
of women towards society and encourage more women to pursue self-empowerment.

This prestigious event is proudly presented by the organisers for the second year in a row. This year,
the committee has decided to open up the applications to an impressive amount of 60 nominations
from Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. For the Personal Honorary Award, it will be
presented to the following individuals as recognition of their outstanding contributions to society:

- Teresa Kok, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities
- Angelica Lee Sinje, award winning film actress
- Hidy Ng, designer of global label Hidy N.G
- Joan Cheong, beauty economics consultant

The panel of judges this year is headed by Malaysian TV and radio personality Angel Wong Chui
Ling, and includes Ms Sherene Chew, Prof Dr Gan, and Ms Karline Chew. More details regarding the
event, in particular the announcement of awards finalists, will be shared during the press conference
on 19 June from 2-4pm.

今年的评审将由 Chui Ling 当评委会主席及其他 6 位评委一起公佈入圍者名單。更多相关的资
