Dear Members,
I want to thank the Members of the Amarillo Club for allowing me the opportunity to serve as president
of the Board of Directors. I am very honored and proud to start this journey. The previous presidents have
laid a wonderful foundation that I plan to continue building upon.
I am excited to see what this year brings, especially with all the key staff changes in the last year. Andrea
Reinert has worked extremely hard putting together a strong team at the Club. Everyone knows their
part in making the Club strive. I am happy to see our food quality and service back to the highest of
standards. I want to thank Executive Chef Joseph Guzman and Abhi Sonkar, Food & Beverage Manager
for those accomplishments. I also want to recognize Kristi Kellum, Event Coordinator for taking our
catering program and banquets to new heights. I am still in awe of the awesome job they did on my
daughter's wedding last Fall.
The team has worked very hard on the Membership Partner Program. I encourage you all to participate, so we can not only grow our
Membership, but increase revenue and ultimately get the Club back to where it deserves to be as the Premier Club of the Texas Panhandle.
Lastly, I want to thank all of our Board Members for their service and dedication to the well-being of the Club. Your hard work is not
unnoticed. I also want to welcome the new Board of Directors as they join us on this journey, and find their new roles within the Board.
I have all the faith in the world in our amazing staff, I encourage you to get to know them, and ask them questions, or let them know
about your experiences good or bad. Once again, I thank you for this opportunity, and I am looking forward to the next year for all of
us Amarillo Club Members.
Thank you, AMARILLO CLUB

Copain Winery was built in 2007, and is perched on a hillside overlooking the Russian
River Valley. French for “friend” or “buddy”, Copain was the name thoughtfully
chosen for the winery by Wells Guthrie, the energetic founder and passionate
winemaker. The name underscores his belief that wine is an experience best shared
with friends and family, particularly alongside a meal.
