ANNOUNCE how very blessed and well provided for we are here in
Britain. The truth is that compared to most of the world
we are very wealthy, however hard up we may feel. As
has been said, if we have any loose change in our purse
or pocket and any money in the bank then we are
among the wealthiest 10% of the population of the
globe. Amazing but true. The reality of the poverty of
so many scarcely seems real to us here. If we are hard
up then we can always cut back on some of our expen-
diture. It may not feel like it but we are indeed blessed.

In beautiful, air conditioned buildings The second is that there is a loving and caring God who
with brand new equipment and facilities has our well-being constantly in mind. If this is true
then we are asked to learn to trust Him for all that is

EXCITED RESPONSE TO
"WOULD YOU LIKE AN ALLOTMENT? "

Dear Bruno,
Ernie, the Parish Clerk, wrote "Can you run a piece asking
if there is a need for allotments and we'll see what response
we get." Well, as the title of this email says - an excited
response from me. I have debated contacting the council
for a while with regards to this matter. When enquiring
previously I was passed through various council members
down from district to parish and then was given Mrs Jean
Foster's contact details. When I contacted her, she
informed me that the plots behind her house were all taken
and that I would be 9th on her waiting list if I wished to
join it, which I subsequently did.
I do hope you get further enthusiastic responses and that
allotments can be provided. Please could you pass my
support for some allotments onto the relevant person.

Many Thanks, Jenny Bridger (Little Heath).
