MINI ROUNDABOUT Renewable Energy Solutions
SCHEME AT of Sawbridgeworth
DUNMOW ROAD Design and Installation of Solar PV Systems
APPROVED Tel: 01279 912 626 [email protected] www.vikingsolar.co.uk
BY ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL Certificate Number
NAP 16782
After intensive lobbying by the Parish Council and Solar PV
County Councillor Susan Barker, the Uttlesford
Highways Panel recommended that the mini 14054 Feb 15
roundabout scheme for the Dunmow Road /
Chelmsford Road junction be pursued and have IN-SHAPE BOOTCAMPS!!!!!
allocated £80,000 towards its implementation. The
scheme was referred to the Essex County Council The most effective way to lose weight, get fit and burn big calories!!
Portfolio holder for Highways (Cllr Rodney Bass) as Try In-Shape Bootcamp to get you back on track!
Highways Officers questioned its compliance with
County Policy; fortunately Cllr Bass took note of the It is an intense interval fitness program for men and women of all ages, shapes,
strong support from the Parish Council and Cllr sizes and fitness levels.
Barker and approved the scheme.
The scheme is another step forward in negotiations, Mondays 7.30-8.15pm – Small Group Training in private gym
for speed reduction, which have been ongoing since Tuesdays 7.30-8.15pm – OUTDOOR BOOTCAMP @ Farm studio
2002. The 30 mph and extended 40 mph limits were
introduced in 2007 but not the “engineering Weds 9.15-10am Kettlebell Bootcamp @ Farm studio
measures” that Essex Police insisted were necessary Thursdays 7-7.45pm @ Hatfield Heath Village Hall
to make the limits self enforcing. The mini
roundabout should reduce the speed of traffic entering £5 per Bootcamp session
and leaving the village along the Chelmsford Road; £10 per Small Group Training Session
as a bonus it should also reduce the congestion along
the Dunmow Road during the morning rush hour. Special Offer

the objectives of the 2002 policy.

CALL
Local engineer with 25yrs experience consultation to route all plane departures onto the
Clacton route over the village
14033 Dec 14 I urge everyone to contact NATS and say NO to this
change.
You can write to
Stansted SID Airspace Consultation
PO Box 25A
4000 Parkway
PO15 7FL
or you can give feedback at
www.nats.aero/lampstansted
There is NO consultation with local communities.
There are NO printed copies of the proposals -- only
on the internet so hard luck if you cannot get to a
library to view as they suggest!
In two years time there will be another consultation
under London Airspace Management Programme
which will consider more fundamental changes to
the routes from Stansted.
This proposal will benefit Gatwick and London City
airports, though it also states a Heathrow effect.
Stansted Airport is currently operating at about half
its' permitted capacity. The owners believe it has the
potential with the existing runway to serve 43
million passengers -- which would mean 4 times the
“Wendycot”,Chelmsford Road, number of flights over the village.
Hatfield Heath, The proposal states that the Clacton and Dover
flight-paths do not diverge significantly until after
Bishop’S Stortford, Herts passing Hatfield Heath. The benefits would go to
Opening Hours those areas to the south of the village -- Matching
Mon - Fri 8am - 5.30pm Green ? NOT the south side of the village.
Sat 9am - 1pm The consultation states there is no compensation for
the increased air traffic noise.
Tel: 01279 730 274 We have already been duped over the Required
Navigation Programme trial on the Clacton route.

Hatfield Broad Oak. Very few planes are on the
Hatfield Broad Oak side of this centre line - so they

I believe we will get a great deal more planes over
the School, Churches, Nurseries, The Close and the
whole village.
Please get everyone in your household to respond
against the increased noise and pollution
