CROP GUNS

Hello Bruno,
I was wondering if you could put an email in your
next addition about the Crop Guns that have been
steadily getting worse on the Stortford Road.
I have complained twice now to UDC. I would like
to know if anyone else has complained or is it just
us????
I have said that we should have a 70% reduction in
our rates because of it!
I wanted to go along the road and knock on
everyone's door about it but I really cannot spare
the time. I feel if everyone complained we may get
somewhere.

FROM SOUTH AFRICA
Bishop’S Stortford, Herts
Dear Sir / Madam
My name is Bryan Dix, I am from South Opening Hours
Africa. Mon - Fri 8am - 5.30pm
I have been researching my Dix family for
some 12 years now and recently found Sat 9am - 1pm
numerous mentions of Ralph, Rhoda and
Helen (Who became Rose after marrying Terry Tel: 01279 730 274
Rose) in your delightful village magazine. All
the articles have proved extremely helpful in [email protected]
adding a “little beef to the bones” of my www.jewhitemotors.co.uk
research, for which I thank you.
I have been in contact with Patrick Roberts 1305 January 2012 to December 2013
who is a relative and he has passed on much
about the family to me. I was however hoping
to add more to my research and was wondering
if you could please assist with, if it is not too
much trouble to ask, if you could please
perhaps publish a line or two in a future
magazine requesting any of the villagers who
may have some recollection or stories of the
family to share them with me per e-mail
[email protected]. I am certain there are
many who would have memories of the family
as they were very much involved in so much of
the village life through the schools, music and
village life in general. I would be extremely
grateful for any assistance in this regard.
Kind Regards
Bryan Dix urban, South Africa

SCHOOL PARKING

understand that everyone's move is CM 22 7EA
different and that is why we tailor
our service to each individual Dear Mr. Clements,
customers needs.
Kings Removals was set up as and still I am a concerned parent who lives in Hatfield
runs as a family business today. Great emphasis is put on customer Heath. For the past 8 years I have walked both my
satisfaction and this is why a high percentage of our work comes from children to school every day but in recent months
recommendations and repeat business. the parking of vehicles outside the front of the
school, on the main road has got increasingly worse
www.kingsremovals.co.uk and very dangerous. Certain vehicles are parking
here everyday, on the pavement obstructing the path
and making it difficult to pass on foot, which I
believe is illegal.
As a parent of young children and a resident of
Hatfield Heath I feel that it is up to both the school
and other concerned parents to take action to stop
this parking from happening. I have spoken to the
school office and was informed that the police have
advised to take photographic evidence and forward
it on to them. Is there any other action that can be
taken towards preventing this dangerous parking? I
know that it is mentioned in every school newsletter
but this doesn’t seem to make any difference.
I look forward to hearing any suggestions you may
have to improve this situation.

Thank you
