The feedback has just been published on the NATS
web site and it is bad news for the village. All
flights will be going over the village.
NATS sees no reason to change its proposal despite
having only 15% support. They had 317 objections
but they say these didn't tell them anything they
didn't already know. The consultation just seems to
have been an exercise rather than having meaning
and the interpretation of the results backs this up.
The proposal goes to the CAA on the 19 November

with them. They will consider the proposal until

www.simplylawns.co.uk have had more of our fair share of difficult times
this year. Do look out for your neighbours who feel
14022 - Dec 2014 like this, particularly at Christmas time.

Christmas is of course the biggest of the winter fes-
tivals that celebrate ‘light in the darkness’. Chris-
tians believe that God himself entered our
wonderful (but sometimes very confused world) as
a small child – Jesus. He did not come with trum-
pets blazing, but in that deepest of hopeful things –
a new born baby. Shepherds were the first visitors
to see the child, and it was a while before the
‘kings’ arrived. To each of us, whatever our circum-
stances, I believe we can trust in that loving God,
who we see reflected in Jesus this Christmas time.

Whether you have a strong faith or not, God is there
to guide us from darkness to light, from sadness to
hope, from this year into the next. And I pray that
2015 may hold great things for our community and
all of us individually.

Best wishes,
