My years at Webster College were vitally important to
my career as well as my ability to lead a fulfilling life.
Like many Webster students, I was the product of a
financially underprivileged environment and I struggled to
meet my financial needs. Fortunately, I was the recipi-
ent of a scholarship which helped me to provide for my
education. It is for this reason that I am establishing the
Jenifer Lewis Scholarship Fund for the benefit of African-
American students who are in need of, and to support the
purchase of, supplemental funds necessary to provide
for typical student needs such as books, a computer or
dormitory supplies.

It is my hope that recipients of the scholarship will feel
supported and motivated. I wish to demonstrate to
recipients that I, as well as others, stand beside them
in the pursuit of their education. I hope that the scholar-
ship is an incentive to both first-year and all students to
complete their education.
