“Dress for Success Do’s and Don’ts”

Interview Attire

Directions: You are going to make a “Do’s and Don’ts guide of interview attire. Research appropriate
and inappropriate business attire for an interview. We are talking about a professional business job such
as an administrative assistant, business manager, accountant, lawyer….not a McDonald’s employee.

*You will provide a list of the Do’s and Don’ts of interview attire. You will also provide pictures that go
along with your Do’s and Don’ts.

1. Open Microsoft Word and create a blank document

2. Save the document as: Dress-for-Success-Do’s-and-Don’ts

3. Change your margins to 0.50 (Left, right, top, and bottom)
-click on Page Layout

4. Research the Do’s and Don’ts of interview attire. Be creative in how you present the information.
You could create a list, make a guide, put the do’s on one page and the don’ts on another
page……just be creative. You can change the font, color, size, etc.

5. Make sure to include pictures that go along with your do’s and don’ts. You can either use the
websites below or find your own pictures. Just make sure they are appropriate for a school
project and that you are using an appropriate website.

****You need to have at least 20 Do’s AND at least 20 Don’ts.
